Cosy and serene base in historic location to sample the Christmas market

Fabulous location. Loved the renovation of the building, and it was well-appointed. Had been warmed for our arrival also.

Wi-fi is a little spotty in some corners of the apartment. Fabulous reception in the bathroom, almost non-existent on the sofa. Felt like the top floor needs its own booster.

Absolutely phenomenal

This was the best property i have EVER stayed in- and i have travelled A LOT. The attention to detail in refurbishing this property is mind-blowing. Everything is just great about it, if you ever find yourself in Monschau, book this property hands down. I myself am a hotel owner as well and i was borderline jealous of the meticulous work done at the appartment. Congratulations guys, you made my stay with my spouse and my mother-in-law an unforgettable experience!

The apartment was very strategic, we travelled by bus and gladly the place was near from the bus stop. We liked the layout of the apartment, but maybe it's a bit too narrow for tall people. The place was equipped with sufficient kitchen utensils for us to prepare our own meals. The host also had a nice collection of DVDs and books. A perfect place to spend a weekend with family.

Our visit to Monschau and the apartment, were the highlight of our trip! We stayed in the atmospheric, 4th floor, roof apartment and the stairs were just a small price to pay. I loved peeping out of the window - on a small step! We do 'handluggage only', so could manage well... Very nice kitchen, good coffee, dining & sitting areas.

Another opinion on the bed - difficult getting into for the 2nd person and the very soft mattress. Please add a few more hooks for clothing.

Amazing place

This is a amazing apartment in an old building, but with a modern renovation, everything is super clean and thought out to the smallest detail: the kitchenware, towels, soap, and even chocolates as a gift - it was a pleasant surprise. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Location in the center, near the bakery.

there is no elevator, it seems to me difficult for people in a wheelchair to climb to the upper floors, but you can choose an appointment on the first floor

An amazing view with a well-decorated interior. Despite modern facilities, you really feel the age of the building.

There is nothing, in particular, we did not like. But, I suspect it would be difficult to enjoy your stay if you are above 190cm.

The only minus point are very steep stairs to the apartment, was not problem in our situation but could be. Would be helpful to inform about it in advance.

beautifully placed in the center of Monschau, carefree dropping off of Family and luggage and drive with parking card to parking place located on 2 minutes walk. The property itself is beautifully restored and decorated tastefully. sufficiently equipped for any type of stay

If you look for a charmful flat in Monschau City center, look no further

Unbeatable location, charmful, very accurate check-in instructions, parking card, very well equipped (although we did not use the kitchen facility, nothing seemed to be missing. We did not use the TV or the hi-fi system either but it is there), great breakfast at the bakery on the Markt square, spotless clean.

If there would be one thing: I found the bed too soft. But this is a matter of personal preference and my girlfriend did not think so, so no one to blame.

Amazing cosy appartement in the heart of Monschau

The house is lovely. All the details are taken into account. It is clean and have all the accessories to have a good stay: tv, DVD’s, games. Also b as e cuttlery to cook there. The decoration is really warm. It is ideal for a small family or for 4 people. The location is superb. Very Good quality of furniture.

The pillows (too big) and the duvets are not really comfortable (too short) and the towels are basic, take extra is recommendable. The parking is really inconvenient when you arrive and you live as you need to walk 300 meters with the cases, plus 3 floors with stairs. Missing a microwave is a min point but not essential.

Great place to enjoy the cute little Monschau

Great location, smack in the middle of the old town. Out of the window you get a really nice view, great to wake up and check it out or to watch it at sunset. The place itself is nicely decorated, well equipped, clean and ordered. Fully recomended.

Some of the decorations or something in the apartment might not be antiallergenic, I got some allergy sympthoms while staying over there, which were ok when I got back home (and felt better while being ourside). So if you suffer from allergies do take some antihistamines with you, just in case. That's a very personal thing, other than that there were no complaints at all.

A cosy place to stay in a very historic village.

we enjoyed the rustic appeal and the central location. very close to some lovely walks. Judith was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

the 46 steps with narrow head space was a surprise especially carrying our luggage. A few small kitchen items that may have made cooking easier eg oven mitts, tongs, measuring cups and champagne glasses.

Wir hatten drei Appartments gemietet. Das Haus ist denkmalgeschützt und sehr liebevoll restauriert. Die Atmosphäre ist großartig. Die Betten sind gut, die Bäder sauber, die Küche gut ausgestattet. Alles hervorragend!

Ein schöner Kurzurlaub

Ein wunderbar renovierter Altbau in einer zentralen Lage. Schöne Aussicht auf den Marktplatz. Infos und Beschreibung bzgl. der An - und Abreise und des Parkens war sehr hilfreich. Unkomplizierter Schlüsselempfang. Trotz der zentralen Lage war es nachts ruhig, so dass wir die Fenster geöffnet lassen konnten.

Die Raumhöhe ist für große Menschen etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. In unserem Fall wäre eine Information bzgl. der Bettdecken (Allergiker) hilfreich gewesen. Auf die steilen Treppen wurde hingewiesen, somit kein Problem.
