Let me start with the positives. The accommodation is in an excellent location, very convenient for getting to Valletta. It could have been a really good choice if it weren’t for the following issues: 1 The cleanliness was lacking. (I’m attaching a photo behind the furniture where a cosmetic item fell and I pulled it out to pick it up.) Dust and dirt everywhere!!! 2 The towels were extremely old and worn out. 3 The toilets are located inside the rooms and close with just a curtain, which creates a big problem. 4 The TV in the room on the first floor never worked. The accommodation is spread over three floors without an elevator, and the top floor where the kitchen is located is nice. There is a toilet with a proper door there.

The location was excellent, very easy to reach everywhere from there.

The apartment wasn't clean. Because everything is painted white, dirt on the walls was visible everywhere. In the second-floor bathroom, the toilet was broken and out of use, and the toilet paper holder was broken too. Water pressure was very weak, both at the kitchen tap and in the bathroom. The bathroom itself was also dirty - grime had built up in the rubber seals and corners of the shower, and dirt would wash out while showering. Bathrooms only have curtains instead of doors, and there was an unpleasant smell and sound periodically coming from the bathroom. No shower gel or toiletries were provided, so bring your own if you choose this apartment. The linen was worn out, though at least it was clean. One more non-critical but unpleasant issue- checkout is at 10:00, and we asked the host to stay just one hour longer. The host refused, saying another guest was arriving and the apartment needed cleaning, but check-in doesn't start until 15:00, and there were only two of us staying. Five hours is more than enough time to clean, a more accommodating host would have shown flexibility and allowed it.
