The staff and the host were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. I especially appreciated how attentive the host was to my gluten allergy – he even prepared a delicious rice-flour flatbread especially for me for breakfast, which was such a thoughtful gesture. He always checked if everything was okay and made us feel very welcome.
The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. We were provided with clean towels, toiletries, and fresh bed linen. The location is also perfect, with several really good restaurants nearby.
And we absolutely loved Ginger, the dog! She is such a sweet little guard dog and quickly recognized us and knew that we were guests. 😊
The value for money was excellent – we honestly couldn’t have found a better place for our stay in Sigiriya. The breakfast was generous and absolutely delicious, and everything was exactly as agreed and expected.
Everything was great overall. The only minor issue was that there were quite a few ants in the bathroom, which was a little uncomfortable. Apart from that, we had no complaints at all.
