Loved the setting: lush tropical garde s, a pool and breakfast on a terrace overlooking a canal with birds, monitor lizards etc. There are lots of happy dogs and cats and a resident tortoise. The hotel is set back from the main road so it's super quiet. A fabulous place to stay. Sun loungers are new. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The owner and his family live there too.. such a quirky haven!
Our rooms have nowhere to hang towels or clothes. The water takes a while to heat up. The whole place could benefit from a repaint, but im being picky

Staff is very friendly and i’m sure they try their best.
The hotel is past its prime. The room is super dark, giving it a bunker like feel, bed is made of concrete, there were a lot of mosquitoes in the bathroom. And there was a funghus like smell in the hallway between the bathroom and the bedroom. Additionally, the kids pool has tiles that have been chipped, which is outright dangerous.
