Friendly and welcoming staff who gave lots of recommendations about things to do in Sigiriya.
The accommodation is basic with a comfortable bed.
Best part of the accommodation is the swimming pool and the fact it is quiet with it being a little way off the main road. It is also close to Sigiriya Rock and viewpoint.
The room was poorly lit.
Breakfast was also very basic compared to comparably priced accommodation we've stayed at.
The water pressure in the bathroom tap was very poor, the aircon was quite noisy, and the hot water shower head needs replacing.
We stayed 2 nights but no making up of the room happened after the first night. Perhaps this is something one needs to request.
The room we had was also right next to the dining area so every word could be heard when people were having breakfast in the morning.

Staff is very friendly and i’m sure they try their best.
The hotel is past its prime. The room is super dark, giving it a bunker like feel, bed is made of concrete, there were a lot of mosquitoes in the bathroom. And there was a funghus like smell in the hallway between the bathroom and the bedroom. Additionally, the kids pool has tiles that have been chipped, which is outright dangerous.
