Cottage was lovely but could have been a little cleaner as dusty lamps and work tops.
Garden was nice but wasn't secure for small dogs but did manage to cobble something together.
Was large accommodation and good cooking facilities.
Peaceful at times.
The road up to the property was very bumpy and some cars would struggle.
It was very remote and no information on nearest shops.
Shame there was no view from garden.
Bird noise at 5am every morning was really loud and angry sounding.
Some reviews mentioned getting scones on arrival. We did not receive this and a small welcome pack be really handy as no shops nearby.

Facilities were great (even had sugar, coffee, tea, salt, pepper etc) and in the middle of nowhere so very peaceful. Hosts were great and on hand for any questions that needed answering.

Owner met me at property. All good.
The track leading to the farm, which it is based in, is quite long and loads of holes and detritus, but it is a working farm, so not complaining; just advising anyone who doesn't like driving on anything other than flat roads. It's not something that caused me great concern once I'd driven it a couple times

We loved the size of the property and the rooms were spacious. This was a nice surprise as in the photos it looked much smaller. The bed was huge as well. The decor was good and it was comfortable, and the host had thoughtfully put the heating on for us before we arrived so it was warm. There was a good amount of kitchen equipment and it was very peaceful.
As others have mentioned the potholes on the road. The bedlinen smelled musty and uclean even after it had been washed at my request, so there must be an issue with the washing machine or tumble drier. Only one champagne glass, only two mugs, no towel rail in the bathroom and no hairdrier. There was dust on the bedside table lamps. It is shame as these are small touches but they make a difference.
