Easy, relaxing stay. Warm, comfortable, quiet cottage. Lots of places to eat and drink.

Central location - right beside the main street in Kirkby Lonsdale. Parking was easy too - just a short walk from the property.

A lovely stay, very cute cottage albeit basic lacking a few home comforts to make the stay more cosy. Perfect as a base

Convenient for walking everywhere, very cute, upstairs was warm and snug

A bit cold/drafty from back door to sit in the evening for long periods, we tried the log burner to make it more cosy but it didn’t seem to burn well and heat output was poor, shame because it really has potential for a cute evening curled up downstairs for the evening, maybe a few throws/blankets could help. No tea/coffee left which is always a nice comfort on arrival and also toilet flush was a bit temperamental

Perfect little hideaway

Comfortable clean environment. perfect for a weekend away. Went with my partner and we had a choice of walks and pubs and a lovely place to come back to.

Lovely little cottage in an excellent location.

Location was excellent. Property was very clean, kitchen well equipped and the bed was comfortable. It was pleasant in the little courtyard.

There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like. However, the lounge was much smaller than the photograph suggests. We had a lovely time nevertheless.

Loved Kirkby Lonsdale

Location is perfect, clean cottage comfy bed

Booked this particular cottage because it said 'pets allowed' (booked via booking.com) only to be told 1 small, dog was allowed after booking. It was a non refundable room so didn't want to lose our money. I had to then pay to have our dogs looked after for the weekend. I was really upset about this All I kept getting told was it does say one small dog, after some investigation it does state one small dog on cottages Com website but I.didn't book through them. Hopefully thus has been made more clear now on Booking com website. Also I didn't take an iron,as this was displayed in the facilities and when i went to look for it no iron to be found. Also no tea,coffee,sugar etc .I know this isn't major but a couple of teabags would have been nice.

Lovely break away

The property is in a fantastic central location on a quite street. It is small but perfect us as a couple with a dog. The was a lovely bright bedroom with bedroom upstairs (some cottages have a bathroom downstairs which I find a negative so this was great). Very clean and well equipped.

The only negatives was the cooker took some time to understand how to operate but it was fine once we figured it out. The tv could be slightly larger but had Netflix so that was a bonus!

The location was excellent. It was immaculately clean and comfortable. Having the wood burner was lovely to come back to after a day walking.

Only a small thing but a mirror near a plug socket would be good.

Centrally located in one of our favourite towns. Very clean and everything needed for a weekend break

There was no milk or tea etc on arrival. Not a problem as there is Spar shop just a minute's walk away, but a little 'welcome tray' is always a nice touch and one has come to expect one theses days.

Lovely cottage in a great location

Lovely well equipped cottage, central location but traffic noise was minimal. Pretty town where the locals were most welcoming, great walks and excellent beer from the Kirkby Lonsdale Brewery although the speed of service at their own bar was not the quickest. We took the advice of the owners and booked our evening meals ahead at the Orange Tree which was very busy but food was good. The Botanica served amazing breakfasts if you enjoy an alternative to a traditional cooked.

The communication with the hosts was not the best, presumably because it was not directly through Booking.com but emails took days before they were answered.

Excellent weekend in a beautiful cosy property.

Great location and a beautifully renovated cottage.

Main issue was getting the information to access the keylock. This hadn't been sent so I had to chase. Also, the departure time at the property states 10am but the host / e-mails said 9am which is a little early. I had to e-mail a request for a later checkout to be told 10am would be fine. I think it would be easier to just state it is 10am.
