Rural and quiet, the perfect getaway.

Nice and remote, very quiet - just what we wanted.

Maybe a bigger sofa but we are being really picky here!

Very enjoyable despite 7 days rain. Recommend for couples or families with young children.

The apartment was exactly as described. It was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Centrally located to all shops bars and restaurants but still reasonably quiet/

Check in isn't until 4.00pm, most places seem to be 3.00pm and check out time of 9.00am is too early - particularly bearing in mind the late check in. Means loading car and leaving during peak time and a very early start on the last day of holiday. 10.00am would be better. Wifi not the best and TV in bedroom couldn't connect during our stay but wasn't a problem to us.

Beautiful and comfortable.

The whole property has been respectively refurbished keeping so much character while having modern amenities. We loved our time there, it really felt like a home from home. The Christmas decoractions and the yummy treats were a lovely touch and unexpected. We would definitely go back.

There wasn't much not to like about the property but it is worth pointing out the stairs are really steep but we didn't have any mobility issues. And it would have been useful to two keys not just the one.

We self catered the hob took a bit of getting used to as never cooked on induction hob but sufficient for our needs

Hidden Gem

Absolutely beautiful little apartment hidden away just behind the main street. Literally in the centre of town but quietly tucked away. Everything is top notch in the flat and we loved the layout. It was so cosy with the wood burning stove which Emma had got ready for us to just light. She is a fabulous host and communication is exceptional she's on hand to answer any questions and also left us some treats and milk & prosecco in the fridge which were a lovely touch. The bathroom is amazing, fabulous spa bath & powerful shower and as it's a combi boiler no running out of hit water. Beautiful modern kitchen with everything you need. This flat was absolutely immaculate.Ta ta's cafe that is just round the corner is great for a cooked breakfast if you don't fancy cooking. Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Landings and would highly recommend it.

A comfortable, stylish, well-equipped and comfortable cottage in a quiet but central location with easy access to riverside walks as well as excellent pubs, cafes and restaurants.

All the facilities were excellent. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

Exceptional

Liked everything. Our second stay at the Landings and another stay booked for next week. Emma is an excellent host, she left lovely little treats which was a very nice touch. Central location, perfect for local pubs and restaurants. Very clean. Lovely log burner makes for cosy nights in. Quality furnishings. Ideal for a couple or a small family. Love everything about The Landings.

A parking pass would have been good, but I don’t suppose you can have everything.
