The location was perfect. At the end of downtown action but still very accessible. Easy to get on the freeway to get to the beaches and other towns. We all enjoyed being able to walk to several restaurants and shops. Our 20 year old son felt comfortable enough to walk around late.
We live on a quiet cul-de-sac so aren’t used to the street noise and people walking around late. But the other guests were quiet and the noise was nothing compared to Paris!

The location was fabulous! I have visited Charleston many times, but never stayed in the Upper King Street area. This area has evolved into a destination all its own! Restaurants and bars galore...plus convenient (free) bus to Lower King and Market Streets...although it's an easy walk as well. Super-close parking was great in their dedicated and numbered parking lot.
I would have rated this property an easy"10" based on the apartment layout, design and decor...but we had an issue with the hot water and had to call maintenance twice to address the problem.

Guesthouse was amazing!!! I was a little apprehensive due to the lack of reviews, and also because of a Booking snafu, but their customer service (Guesthouse) is amazing and put my mind at ease. I spoke with Kerri who sent me all the emails and app that I needed before check in. Keyless entry, super clean, and great location. Parking is a bit tight, but you get used to it. Very easy to Uber or walk anywhere in Charleston. This was my friend's first time staying in a vacation rental and she had a great experience!
There was nothing I didn't like. Something to note, Booking seems to have an issue with vacation rentals. When I called to get check in information, my reservation was still pending and was about to be released. Thankfully, I was as able to speak with someone and she took care of everything, processed the payment, etc. Just be sure to follow through after you reserve.

Clean, separate bedrooms each with a bathroom.
Noise from upstairs units. Since ground floor unit faces street, blinds should be on all bedroom windows so some light can be let in as wanted.
