New Apartment 2 bedrooms center of Paris by Studio prestige

Very close to Gare du Nord but on a quiet street and very secure with three security doors. We arrived in a heat wave to find bottles of water in the fridge and fans in every room. The ground floor flat was cool. Spacious for a family of 4. Everything you need in the flat: washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. Cleaning supplies and coffee pods had been left. Lovely bedding and towels. Clean and nicely decorated. Supermarket at the end of the street and a couple of great bars/bistros. The agency staff were very helpful responding to messages quickly. Would definitely recommend - so convenient for Eurostar and the metro.

Lokalizacja i dużo miejsca w apartamencie nawet dla 6 osób. Bardzo dobry kontrakt z właścicielem.

Czystość łazienki a w szczególności brak w niej wentylacji. Ogólnie w apartamencie nie otwiera się zbyt wiele okien. Mozna uchylić tylko lufcik. Dodatkowo czasami czuć zapach kanalizacji dochodzący z zewnątrz. Niedogodnością też było niedziałające Wi-Fi.

7-8 mins walk to Gare Du Nord. Most Paris hotels are very tiny, but this apartment is very spacious for a family. The apartment has got heating which is good for winter and the hot water for shower is very consistent. The host is responsive.

(1) No AIRCON. so it’s natural ventilation for summer. My family members felt that it was ok, but I’m fat, so it’s abit warm for me. (2) Poor sound proofing. afterall this is a airbnb style apartment and its not hotel, so the neighbors are not so forgiving when it comes to noise especially if you have to check in late. and it doesnt help that you have to open windows for ventilation. I wont have mentioned this if the neighbor didnt come to my door and tell me in my face that we were noisy and we shouldnt keep the curtains open because its too bright, yet the neighbor above my unit literally was partying till past mid night on both Fri and Sat night, and we can hear their music, footsteps and toilet flashing. (3) The keys. there is a combination of door codes, key and use of a sensor to enter the apartment (main building door, internal building doors and apartment door), but there is only 1 set given to us. If you need to go out, you need someone to stay awake to open the door for you. Once you lock the apartment door from outside, you cant open it from inside. so if there is fire, everyone has to climb out through the window. (4) Mosquitoes. you will expect mosquitoes if you open windows for natural ventilation. (5) clearing garbage. Dont think it is mentioned in booking.com, but on arrival there was instruction for us to clear the garbage before leaving. though it doesnt say what happens if we don’t do it.
