FANTASTIC place! Would recommend. 1. Great location! Absolutely walkable to all the main sites. Easy to walk to the water front each morning. Quiet neighborhood, but great restaurants and nightlife all around. I prefer this location over the Politeama area. 2. Safe building. It's tucked away down a side street. No riff-raff. No trash. 3. Clean unit, with a new renovation. LOVED the gas stove! 4. Direct sunshine between 11am-noon. 5. Guiseppe met me in person and handed over a set of keys. Answered my questions directly and brought over a few things later. I really appreciate the "in-person" contact and having a set of normal keys. He also let me check-in early. 6. I paid USD $56 per night, which was OK. 7. The heater/AC unit worked well. It was January. That said, even though there was only 1 unit in the living room, it managed to heat up the bedroom as well.

Nothing major. After staying (4) nights, I make the following observations: 1. It would be nice if the tourist tax could be included in the price. To pay the tourist tax in cash separately is a nuisance. 2. The toilet flush noise is jarring and loud. 3. The shower basin fills with water and does not drain immediately. At first I was left standing in ice-cold water, but I solved that by taking the nozzle and spraying the cold water into the sink. After it was warm, I hopped in the shower. 4. WiFi is unreliable. Initially tested 0.3 mbps. Guiseppe provided a booster, which helped. It went to 9.2 mbps. But on my final morning there was nothing at all. The network wasn't even available. 5. Loud banging, hammering, and construction noise from other units, starting around 8AM. Not the owner's fault, but it impacted my sleep. Hopefully it will stop soon! 6. Furniture wasn't comfortable. Plastic chairs. Hard couch. Uncomfortable mattress/pillows (in my opinion). I know I listed a lot of stuff, but it's still a very good place!

Comfortable and very nice appartment. Close to the ond town, the market, restaurants and bara. Easy to find parkingplace. Good communication with the host.

The only thing we did not like was we expected a garden or at least a garden view. Which the first image is shown. That was a disappointment.

The apartment is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The host is very kind and helpful. Located in the old city, it is easy to explore the area by foot. There is a restaurant next door, but also the main shopping street is within 10 min walking distance.

The windows are not soundproof, so if you are sensitive to noise from outside (e.g., neighbours watching TV at night), this may be bothersome. However, the area is really quiet compared to the livelier places in Palermo.
