Staying at this property was the best choice we made and we'll keep coming back.

The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything, I mean everything we could need during our stay. In fact, there were excesses abound from kitchen items to bathroom and bedroom furnishings. It really felt like we were in our home. The hosts were very friendly and helpful whilst assisting us, and were very prompt in responding to any queries we made.

This is not a rebuttal but an observation. The carpet in the living room seemed old and could do with a change, but it was clean and tidy. Also the sofa bed mattress was on the thin side and somewhat uncomfortable to sleep on, but a supplementary top up mattress might be useful to address the issue

Comfort guaranteed.

The cottage was lovely, warm and cosy on the coldest days of the year. We had everything we needed and the hosts left plenty of information about the house and the surroundings. Being able to park the car off the road was a bonus. Connections into Glasgow city centre were easy.

The house is situated on a busy main road, but that can't be helped! There was little or no traffic noise at night.

A comfortable stay for our week away!

Friendly communication from the host. Was offered an earlier check in (but were unable to use it sadly). Parking was a plus but takes a lot of practice. Walking distance to amenities and travel links, and close to the city centre. House was always warm enough. Bed was a super king so good size. Use of washing machine and dishwasher was helpful. Space in the garden area for seating (was too wet curing our stay!). Host left milk, coffee, and some breakfast cereals which were appreciated. Overall, a comfortable stay for our week away.

Noisy road (but we knew that from other reviews) - got used to it quickly. The place was clean enough, but not perfect - pet hairs on the rug, a smell of damp in the bedroom, and the shower has some historic mould. Matress on the bed dipped on each side (tried to rotate it but didn't help much).

There was a damp smell in the bedroom Bedsheets felt damp. This maybe to do with radiator in bedroom not working The water in the shower was abs roasting we couldn’t regulate it at all I couldn’t wash my hair as water far too hot to rinse it

Wonderful property, perfectly suited to our needs. Great location with lots to see and do nearby. Generally immaculately clean. Good quality furniture. Safe, enclosed garden. Well equipped kitchen. Very responsive hosts who made is feel welcome and looked after.

Could do with child locks on the cupboard under the sink and fusebox cupboard. Inside of microwave must have got missed by the otherwise perfect cleaning. More clothes pegs would be handy. We couldn't get the tumble dryer to work, but may have been user error!

The bed in the main room could do with some TLC, the slats fell away causing us to fall down into the frame. The mattress was mouldy underneath and smelt of damp so this could then be smelt throughout the stay

Location was excellent- bus and train close by. Heating, shower and spacious rooms made it extremely comfortable. Off street secure parking with the added bonus of an outside entertainment area was great.

Pretty Cottage

Perfect little cottage with the added bonus of private, secure parking and a patio area that is a wee sun trap! Fully equipped kitchen and the hosts thought of everything. We will definitely be back. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Was a great place for me and partner. Loved the bed size. The layout was great. Had everything needed. Loved the little touches the milk in fridge, coffee machine, cereals and even the caramel wafers. Great touches. Great information provided by the owners. Will definitely book this place again!!!

Good communication with the owners. A good range of goodies for breakfast provided including milk , cereal and tunnocks chocolate bar. Nice garden to relax in.

The bed needs upgrading , some slats are not fitted properly so the mattress is uneven. The rug in the main room needs changing as it smells of damp.

Very noisy at night time because of the Crow Road ( busy road ) next to bedroom. The parking at the rear is so tight and difficult to get especially when you have a large SUV 4x4 - absolute nightmare. If you have a small car it will be fine but with large vehicles you will struggle - stressed me out badly few times.

Great location and well equipped.

The house was very well equipped, comfortable and delightfully cosy (we were visiting in January). The location was spot on for our needs - visiting friends and family in the west end and Bearsden. It was also great to have somewhere to park the car off the road.

There was nothing we didn't like other than it could use an oven glove and a second dish towel but other than that it was absolutely perfect.

Excellent and we will be back

The house had clear directions sent to me for arriving. Welcome and warm house to stay in. Nice welcome pack with the things I was needing for the morning saving me going to the shops first thing. Bed was huge and so comfy.

Only downside was as I have a bigger (wider) car the lane was VERY neat to the sides and upon leaving there was a bike chained to the lamp post in the lane which resulted in my car having scratches on it from the bush on the other side. Not the property's fault and nothing they can do about it, but was my only downside. Accomodation was excellent.

Good location for Glasgow City/Airport 10 mins in a car, local shops/supermarkets Cottage was comfortable, Everything you need was provided, well equipped kitchen, also off road secure parking at back of house, wifi. On a very busy main road and train line at the back but noise surprisingly was not an issue. Cottage was excellent value for money. Did not meet hosts but communication was as required and they were available via phone and email.

An indeed cheerful cottage

Love the interior and design of the house. I had a very comfortable stay with my partner with amenities that we required such as hairdryer, washer, and microwave oven. The backyard was also really nice to have our breakfast in the morning. House was convenient as it was only a 5 min walk away from Jordanhill station and a 7min walk away from bus-stops with a bus that goes into the city centre. There is also a huge supermarket nearby that makes purchasing groceries easy Parking vehicles in the backyard was possible but I chose to park at the roadside near the house instead due to the narrow street and tight turn through the gates.

Small issue but I think the heating rack in the toilet doesn't work. Or maybe I didn't know how to get it to turn on, but doesn't affect my stay at all.

I think the people living here are giants, the bed is gigantic! (And the mirrors are a little upper than usual) but it’s a great place to stay in Glasgow, super comfy and the backyard is a big plus.
