Just what we wanted . Relax by the pool

Lovely property in a very quiet location with a good array of facilities.

Room was very large and had all the facilities expected. Large bed, which was very comfortable. TV with Netflix available. Secure private parking on-site. Breakfast was great - we expected a continental style breakfast but the owner offered us an omelette which was gratefully received. There was a very large and very comfortable guest lounge with a large TV. The whole property was in excellent order and very clean and the host very personable. There is also a nice swimming pool area if you go in the warmer months. Location wise, we were only 5 minutes away from a number of good restaurants and other entertainment amenities. The price that we paid for the room including breakfast was extremely good value for money. The property cannot really be faulted at the price offered.

The only area that we would offer to owner as advice would be that the room we had, whilst very large and comfortable, had an open style bathroom to the bedroom. We hadn’t expected this and, normally, we wouldn’t book this type of accommodation had we known. However, we are not calling this out as a real negative given all the positive points that the property provides. Having renovated a number of properties in our time, I could see that it would be a very easy change to add a stud wall with door to close off the bathroom area, which would enable a more traditional full en-suite to the bedroom and providing added privacy for those using the bathroom. I think that this may also support more repeat bookings where some of those staying may not have been inclined to re-book (i.e. us) this type of room.

Perfect stay for Le Mans area 🤩

What a great host, the pool was so inviting, a gorgeous house/home and very comfortable beds! The best shower I’ve ever had, great power huge shower area, excellent 👍🏼 a lovely breakfast was prepared for you, nothing was my trouble, Will definitely come back and stay again 🤩

A lovely place to stay and use as a base for exploring the area.

This is a lovely place to stay. The parking was secure, our room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. We opted to have dinner which was delicious and all home cooked (no menu). The whole place was spotless and, relaxing around the pool after a long drive was really nice. After a good sleep, breakfast was as good as dinner, with an omelette and/or various breads and pastries, paired with home made jams and washed down with great coffee.

Magnifique Villa MY

Lovely villa and hosts, a bit strange not having a toilet in the room, there is one close to the rooms. No bar or restaurant as such, though you can have a delicious meal cooked for you by Ivan or his wife. I would stay here again, it is comfortable, clean and close to LeMans.

The room was clean and bright with natural light from the Juliet balcony, lovely pool with plenty of sun loungers. Good food and wine if you want. The lounge area is spacious and comfortable. The villa is situated in a quiet road, close to a town with local shops and a restaurant.

Beautiful villa and pool

Friendly hosts, lovely dog, nice parking area, beautiful villa (also beautifully furnished) and beatiful pool and sunbeds (towels provided by hosts!) Spacious comfortable room and shower. Hosts provide karaf of water and glasses, much appreciated. Good diner (aperative, starter, French fries, meat from BBQ, green salad, nice dessert 35 euro's p.p. Wine has to be payed separately), good breakfast (even got some cheeses when asked for it, also much appreciated) We had a good and relaxing time. Pool area was very nice to relax after long drive

Shared toilet. Info on Booking is not clear about that. There are two rooms and unfortunately for us the other room was booked by a family of four and not only two others. So that felt a bit uncomfortable for us. No Air-conditioning in bedroom and the pump of the pool makes to much noise during the night to sleep with open window. There is a nice little bar and sitting area by the pool. Would be nice to be able to buy a beer or lemonade there and enjoy it even more :)

it started with a warm welcome from our host Ivan who showed us to our large beautifully decorated room. Followed by a delicious homemade dinner - a man of many talents! Having a bottle of St Nicolas de Bourgueil is a must.

Very disappointing and almost disgusting (shared toilet, dinner) experience

Breakfast (coffee, croissants, pancakes, yoghurt) was ok

One (uno, un, 1) shared toilet for 3 guest rooms (up to 6 people). This toilet is next to our room so you can literally hear other guests do their thing. 'Dinner' is a bowl of very average salad for 25 euros a piece: robbery. Other guests get full meal with meat, but they were French. Their meat is made on bbq by 'cook' with sigaret in mouth, so maybe we were lucky after all. Bed is short and small (180 long?). Room is also small and unpractical, has no kitchen what so ever. 'Bathroom' is open bath without decent shower possibilities. All in all, very disappointing experience, absolute no value for money (120 euro/night)

Fabulous room in a beautiful villa with use of pool. Hosts were so welcoming and friendly and prepared a delicious meal on arrival. Breakfast was lovely pancakes, bread, jams, cake, yoghurt and granola with coffee on request. All in a beautiful outside setting. Loved our stay, thank you!

Very large bedroom.

Having to walk down the corridor to the toilet. No on suite toilet but large walk in shower and wash area integrated in the bedroom. So once out of the shower one is in full view of the bedroom while drying ones self. Very poor breakfast. 3 small crepes, 2 slices of bread toasted of which one slice was the end. 2 slices of a cake like bread, an tangerine and a kiwi fruit.

A delightful stay in a delightful home at a very good price.

Absolutely lovely house and the host Ivan was most helpful and friendly. You park inside the garden walls with a security gate. Breakfast was continental and tasty with delicious pancakes and preserves. First class>

Booking.com included this Chambre d'haut when I asked for hotels which wasn't a problem except that I expected to see Magnifique Villa signposted which of course it isn't and it did take a while to find but I did have the phone number and we were outside of the house when Ivan let us in. So make sure you follow the sat nav to the destination and have the phone number on hand.
