THE MALIBU HOLIDAY CLUB SUITE - PUERTO RICO

Nice apartment offering plenty of peace and quiet, as it is just about as far up the hill away from the main town as you can get. Apartment is a good size for two, with great outside space looking out over the mountains (sun in the morning, but shade in the afternoon). The décor did feel dated and would benefit from a freshen up. Facilities were adequate, and we especially liked the addition of an air fryer to make up for the lack of an oven, but would have liked a larger coffee machine (stove top or French press). Also had the same issues highlighted by previous reviewers with the shower / bath. Pool area is large, well-kept and was generally very quiet when we were there (mid-March). Michel was a really good host, with quick, easy and clear communication throughout our stay.

L’arrivée autonome est vraiment un atout nous permettant d’arriver quand bon nous semble. L’hôte est prévenant et nous prévient par message comment avoir accès à l’appartement. Il est idéalement situé dans Puerto Rico au départ même d’une randonnée de 3h dans les montagnes. Le parking y est aisé dans la rue. Le logement était propre et agréable. Des serviettes nous étaient préparées ainsi que la table. Il est équipé de tout ce que nous avons besoin et l’accès à la piscine est compris. Néanmoins prévoyez une voiture ou de prendre le taxi car la descente y est aisée mais la montée nettement moins. Comptez environ 15 min à pied de descente. Les taxis sont facilement accessibles au pied de la rue. Nous n’avons pas su utiliser la machine du logement, mais sur le palier en face vous avez une machine pro pour 3e .

La literie pourrait être changée car nous avons eu du mal à être reposé le matin mais je suppose que c’est selon les goûts de chacun.

I recently stayed at this lovely apartment in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria, and it was absolutely perfect. The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The large balcony offered stunning views of surrounding hills & mountains. We spent so many evenings just relaxing outside eating & drinking al fresco. The location was ideal too. Not too far from the abundance of restaurants, and shops, but still peaceful enough to enjoy some quiet time. The pool area was well maintained and never too crowded, which made it feel even more relaxing. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a sunny, relaxing getaway in Gran Canaria!
