Lovely bungalow with big terrace, in downtown Puerto Rico, 5 minutes from beach

Natalia was waiting at property on arrival. Introductions to property made, including use of washing machine, which was fantastic. Lots of towels provided and also a bottle of wine. Puerto Rico is built into mountains, so hills and steps are inevitable, but the bungalow is situated so that this isn't a real problem for anyone with reasonable fitness. Beach is a 10 minute walk, central shopping is less than 5 minutes. Really excellent restaurants - Planet does the most amazing paella; El Molino for steak and Wok Peking does the best chinese buffets- supermarkets and general holiday stores. Main bus station is at the back of McDonald's, again 5 minute walk, and the staff there are really helpful. The bungalow is clean and well equipped, beds are comfortable and the pool is a welcome addition for cooling down but is only 1.2m depth. It was deep enough for all of us to have fun in though. No AC but fans in all main rooms that were actually pretty good. We sleep with windows open and although you could hear a low buzz from the centre it wasn't enough to disturb sleep or enjoyment of the patio. All in all, we had a great holiday and will definitely come back.

It was an amazing experience, we loved everything about our holiday.The bungalow had everything we needed, near to all local amenities and a great swimmimg pool area

The property was clean and tidy.Unfortunately, the pool was empty which we didn’t know about until we arrived. The host did give us a small refund and offered us use of a different one but we booked this property because it was near the pool.Also, noisy building work happened daily apart from at the weekend which was inconvenient.
