The Millennial Lifestyle Apartment by Amazing Madeira

Posizione eccellente nel centro di Funchal. L’appartamento è spazioso e luminoso, con una cucina ampia e ben attrezzata e due balconi. Le foto rispecchiano abbastanza bene gli ambienti. La gestione è stata sempre molto cortese e disponibile. Molto comoda anche la possibilità di avere un parcheggio, praticamente indispensabile se si soggiorna in centro con l’auto.

Alcuni dettagli mostrano segni di usura e richiederebbero maggiore manutenzione: ad esempio, la finestra del soggiorno non si chiude correttamente su un lato perché manca il gancio, il retro di un armadio è danneggiato e parzialmente fissato con dello scotch. Anche il bagno è piccolo e poco funzionale, senza ganci per gli asciugamani né ripiani nella doccia. La criticità principale è stata trovare due grossi scarafaggi già nelle prime ore del soggiorno. Ci è stato spiegato che a Madeira possono occasionalmente entrare dall'esterno e, proprio per questo, considerando anche il clima e l'assenza di aria condizionata, l'installazione di zanzariere sarebbe molto importante. Per quanto riguarda il parcheggio a pagamento, è molto buio e l'accesso a piedi è poco pratico: non ci è stata fornita una chiave per l'ingresso pedonale e ci è stato indicato di utilizzare la rampa carrabile di uscita, nonostante il divieto di accesso ai pedoni. Considerato anche il costo giornaliero, questo aspetto potrebbe essere gestito meglio.

l'appartement est très grand : 2 vraies chambres + 1 cuisine et un grand salon - et très lumineux Il est super bien situé au coeur de la vieille ville (5 minutes de marche du marché) nous avons opté pour le parking (pente impressionnante la 1ère fois mais on s'y habitue) et c'est un vrai plus

The service was just really great, nice and very helpful. The apartment was clean. A little too much chlorine smell. Except for the other tourists in the house, the few local neighbours were very nice.

We are actually very insensitive to noise, but the walls and windows do not insulate at all. You can hear people talking down the street, very loud car traffic all day. Sleeping in the evening is very difficult, without ear protection not possible because in addition there are two hotels nearby, where young guests party until 2-4 o'clock in the morning. The distance from the streets to the fifth floor didn't help at all to reduce the noise. The couch is a little dirty, stained and definitely broken. No fun to sit in. Please replace it with a new one. Some wall paint is coming off, the shower is in poor condition, but not dirty. The sunshade blinds do not go up properly in every room, and were intentionally fitted with stoppers by the host. 1/4 of the sunshade remains unrolled and annoys you, when you want to see through the windows.
