it was furnished and decorated with an artists flair, it felt cosy , comfortable and elegant the layout was set up to entertain and the owner obviously enjoyed cooking, there was an incredible selection of pans , pots , cooking utensils, cutlery, plates , dishes etc etc it was almost like a professional kitchen . there were books to enjoy , beautiful ornaments excellent bed linens. I could go on I have stayed in thousands of hotels and hundreds of apartments and would rate this apartment as the most comfortable ever.

we were told on check in we could use the beach, and riva pool. without having to pay but if we wanted the sunbeds and parasol’s we would need to buy a day pass . this we did for 3 days but 4th day we were only going to the beach for an hour so just took our towels and went on the section of the beach were there was no sunbeds and it was just in front of our apartment As we were organising the towels a security guard came over and told us no way could we sit there , he was almost crying as he frantically called different officials to see what to do . he said he would get the sack if we were laying on the beach , I showed him the check -in contract on my phone which clearly states use of the beach . he was virtually begging me to move because he would definitely get the sack if we were there and his manager came . knowing the draconian structure these guys work under, I did . I am sure other rentals must have had this problem and it is simply solved by including a riva pass with the rental
