Joy 5 Hotel & SPA

The view was nice and there was lots of space in the suite. The hotel and rooms have a modern feel, which I liked. Breakfast was always good. The whole staff was very nice. We did enjoy our stay.

The spider webs weren't cleaned off from the windows and we had a lot of windows looking into the Danube. No space for suitcases in the bedroom itself. The shower had no place to put a shampoo or soap or razor, everything had to go on the floor. The location is nice but I had no idea taxis can't drop people off in front of the hotel because it's surrounded by a park. A little inconvenient, but ok. Instead we were picked up or dropped off by staff using a golf cart. They were always nice about it.

I liked the quiet zone, the Danube on mornings & evenings (the hotel is on the river), very nice staff..

20 min walk to the bus station, caffe machine did not function, clean but dust near the fridge, We had the same towels for 3 days.

Spa included in the price, really enjoyed the spa. The view, the staff, the breakfast, very clean.

Only one small technical thing. The sink in the bathroom was a bit blocked.

The room was very very small. There are holes in the floors covered with some fake wood panels. You can't park your car in the hotel, the parking is 300 meters away and you have to walk. Now that's a problem because it was snowing bad and it was very cold outside. I got sick from walking to the car and back to the hotel in that cold weather. You can't fix a bad hotel. It's a 2 star hotel at the most.
