This Building is so damp and cold in July it was surreal, i can't fathom to think what it would be like in the winter months. It would also need fumigated as we got eating alive by some type of bug that chooses to live there. There was a damp smell everywhere in the apartment and the toilet/bathroom smelt like the sewer was blocked . This apartment was a bad experience and spoiled my few days away , so much so that i went and booked somewhere else . Money back , not a chance . It is totally immoral that this apartment is being rented out in this poor state. Take my advice and look for somewhere different .

Property is really nice and in a very good location close to all local amenities and isn’t too far away from train station and shops Would highly recommend booking this place if staying in Derry & the owner is very responsive when replying to messages

Tv in the living room could possibly do with an upgrade to allow watching Netflix etc but other than this wouldn’t change anything else about the property

Nothing at all

The bedroom was fine, except the window wasn't tight so air and sound came in. Location ok

So as a bedroom this would have been fine but as it is and apartment and listed with all the commodities that entails I will rate it as such. So basically nothing worked. The heaters didn't turn on, there was no hot water in the shower (you had to turn the water heater on manually which I did but only the taps got warm never the shower). Also we were only provided with one towel for the two of us. The kitchen was awful, one pan and one pot that looked like you'd get cancer from cooking in them. One of the cabinet doors literally fell of when I opened it and the oven plate had pieces of coal in it. Overall the kitchen had a strong mouldy smell and the whole apartment had signs of humidity damage. All the windows are not air tight which probably means humid air and water is constantly coming in. The cherry on top is the "terrace" which is a little square filled with bird feathers and 5 inhabitant birds as well as a load of cigarette butts and trash. We don't watch TV but I turned it on just to see and lo and behold it didn't work. To be fair I did send a message about the heater and they answered that they could send somebody but we were only there to sleep basically and we didn't want to sit and wait for somebody to come during the day. There was also just so much else not working that we couldn't be bothered. Thankfully we were only there for two nights and only really needed the bed, but had we booked for longer with the intention of cooking more I would probably have asked for a refund. We were here on my birthday which just made it all a bit more dissapointing

The price of the flat was reasonable, and it is in a prime area of Derry so easy to access the city centre and shops. The staff were responsive to queries, however the key lockbox code was incorrect and during my stay there was a leak in the roof. These were both sorted quickly and didn't impact my stay. The flat was comfortable and warm.

I booked a flat with the intention of cooking my own meals and using the location as a flat and not a hotel room. Unfortunately the general crockery, cutlery was poor and the kitchen area didn't feel clean on arrival. There is significant use of wall plugins/febreeze to cover smells. There was also fairly limited cooking equipment and the general facilities with this respect were poor. On reflection booking a hotel room in a chain in Derry may have been a much preferred option, as I didn't use the facilities once.
