Thus is our third visit to Lucca and definitely the best so far. We look forward to staying with Stefania again.

Exceptional location, next to the city walls for wonderful morning/evening walks and city location; minutes from the bus and train stations, very spacious, bright and well equipped kitchen. Also, comfortable bed and pillows. Stefania was a great host: warm, friendly, interesting and very helpful. It was lovely to be welcomed by a person and not “a key in a box”.

Number of steps to access the flat……but worth it when you get up! Also, we had difficulty avoiding the cooker- hood.

An apartment with character within the walls of the old city.

Great location within the old city walls. We lived the easy access to the city and nearby railway station. The apartment had plenty of character and was comfortable.

Air conditioning was inadequate given the extreme heat at the time we were there. This made sleeping challenging.

Lucca one bedroom apartment

Convenient and central. Host was very helpful on providing me with some non usual requests and arranged for a physio visit I needed when in Lucca

Floor level (4 ) but give the apartment standard overall this was not a deal breaker

A lovely apartment in a great location in Lucca, super spacious, with all the necessary amenities. The host was very friendly on arrival and she gave us great recommendations for places to eat and go out. Super recommended.

Fabulous.

This flat was fantastic with everything we needed. Located within the walls of Lucca and very close to the train station (a 5 min walk). The lounge area was lovely and it was nice to have such a lovely space to relax in. The bed was big and comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped although we did not really use it that much, just for making a quick breakfast. Stefania was a great host. We had good communication before we arrived and she met us at the flat and gave us a quick talk through of things. We will happily return and stay here again.

The only negative for me (and it's very small) is that there was no cafetière to make fresh coffee in the morning. There is a Nespresso machine but we couldn't find capsules in the supermarket so got fresh coffee which I ended up making in a saucepan. A cafetière would be good.

Wonderfully comfortable and convenient light-filled apartment.

Lovely and comfortable light-filled apartment with beautiful views. Conveniently located, it is close to the walls and an easy walk or ride to anywhere in Lucca. The apartment has everything you could need for your stay. Stefania is a wonderful host and really made my stay enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back!

A charming and well equipped apartment ideal for a couple to stay in Lucca. Highly recommended.

Stefania was a lovely host and so helpful. The apartment was charming and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is great for central Lucca. The train station is a 10 minute walk away. The 4th floor gave some lovely sunset views over Lucca, the wall and the nearby mountains. The Mura di Lucca are only 50m from the front door. The Walls are a lovely place to stroll and exercise.

Nothing to speak of but be aware the apartment is on fourth floor.

Very pleasant stay within the city walls

The appartment is perfectly located within the city wall and offers lots of space. You need to take a few steps up to the 4th floor, but being on the top floor means also a great view and lots of light. The host Stefania is very friendly and helpful, check-in and check-out were easy and she had lots of recommendations. The kitchen is fully equipped, Wifi works well and there are cafes and shops just around the corner.

The host was very resourceful and provided a lot of helpful tips. The living room was very nice and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. The city center and public parking are within walking distance.

One of the best apartments I've stayed at

The host is wonderful. As simple as that. The house is very nice and cosy, comfortable and well equipped (the kitchen, in particular, is very well equipped). Perfect for two people. The apartment is inside the city walls, so a short walk from any place in the center, but not too centric, so parking is easier. All in all a great experience. Would definitely repeat.
