Nice studio.

For me, this was not a pleasant experience, and I don’t think the hotel offered good value for the price. The receptionist with the short hair was quite rude and gave me the impression that she was simply tired of dealing with guests. Almost every request I made was met with a “no.” We were also checked into our room about 30 minutes after the official check-in time. Our room overlooked the square, where it was extremely noisy until late at night. As I was traveling with my 8-year-old daughter, we usually go to bed early, so this made it very difficult for us to rest. We also used the hotel’s laundry service. Our clothes were returned damp and heavily wrinkled, and it seemed that all colors were washed together. I realized that I had accidentally included one very dark item, and only five minutes after handing over the laundry bag, I asked if I could quickly get it back to remove that piece so it wouldn’t ruin the rest of the clothes. The receptionist simply refused to go to the back to retrieve it. Whatever I asked for, the answer was always “no.” At check-out, I received a text message with a list of things we were expected to do before leaving: take out the trash, wash the dishes, and place the towels in a specific location. Everything seemed to be about rules, and I honestly struggled to find any sense of hospitality. Finally, we found a huge cockroach in our room. I understand that these things can happen, but I had to insist several times before the housekeeping staff actually looked for it. The first time they entered the room, they barely searched. Only after I insisted again did they finally find it. After that, the same receptionist said, “I’m glad we could help.” I found that response quite inappropriate. In a hotel charging €275 per night, I don’t think guests should have to insist repeatedly before someone deals with a cockroach in their room. The shared pool area was very small, extremely hot, and not particularly well maintained.

Beautiful apartment with all of the amenities! Staff was extremely helpful and kind. During check in we were given a map and suggestions for beaches, activities, and restaurants. Communication prior to visit was stellar- we were able to park easily and pre-book a boat trip. Catarina & friends made us feel so welcome. The apartment was amazing! Perfectly appointed with space to relax and a fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed making fresh squeezed orange juice with the oranges and juicer provided. Dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, espresso maker, and toaster are just some of the examples. Hairdryer and washcloths were provided, as well. A drying rack was in the closet. Beach towels, an umbrella, and bikes were all included. The location inside the wall was walkable to everything including countless restaurants and stores. The marina, market, and beaches are also very accessible. Check out the rooftop at the sister property in town for views. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at Casa Margo and I would highly recommend!!

In the front of the hotel it can be noisy. But there are plenty of silent rooms, so just ask for it.
