Infante Guesthouse

Yes, it's perfectly located, with everything within walking distance, but what really makes Infante Guesthouse special is the atmosphere. Sitting on the rooftop balcony felt like having front-row seats to everything that makes Lagos... well, Lagos. The old-town charm, the church bells, street musicians, and even a live orchestra performance one evening in the square near the Church of Santa Maria. The old clock that was always at 14:00 reminded me to slow down - and it was the perfect place for peace and quite + around the corner for good food, bars, shopping and beach! Don't miss the coastal walk towards Ponta da Piedade, especially around sunset. Book a kayak tour (you can book through the Infante Guesthouse booking tool), the best way to breathe in the cliff scene in the Algarve. Marek and Isabel were wonderful hosts, Xiana too. If Marek asks you if you'd prefer a quick introduction or the full walkthrough when you check-in, choose the latter. Took us about 1.5 hours, alright :D , yet it felt less like checking into accommodation and more like catching up with an old friend. The recommendations, stories, and the local knowledge are things you simply won't find online. One story Marek shared... Lagos is the terminus, the end of the railway line in the Algarve. People arrive and somehow never leave. Maybe next time I'll take that same journey and stay a little longer. A cozy stay, genuinely caring hosts, and a place that felt more like staying with old friends than simply checking into accommodation. If you're heading to Lagos, stay here, you won't regret it.

We loved everything about it. Markel was great, providing lots of great recommendation for our stay. We enjoyed breakfast and the wine bar, and the location was perfect. Would come back without hesitation!

Views of the sea from my room, very comfy bed, Lovely shower pressure and hot water, Open wardrobe for a few days was more than adequate. beautiful tiles in the bathroom.

Our host argued he cannot fix listing a private parking they don't have. There's a public parking everyone can use. Not what we filtered locations for, but not that bad.
