Villa Rosa

The pool was lovely and the room was a great size, the terrace outside was nice as well

The bathroom was very tight and the closure on the door was not easy to turn. Very minor inconvenience for us though.

- property was nice in general - good amenities including pool and access to near by Don Manuel property facilities and pool. - staff attentive and helpful; they did a room check when I thought I had lost my passport (thank you)

- construction across the road meant that at night the winds would make a howling sound as they passed through the concrete walls - curtains do not block out light of which there were multiple lights on all night immediately outside the room. One directly opposite the glass entry door, we used a spare blanket to cover the door to block the light. We tried to bring attention to this but didn’t really get much in the way of a response or solution - pillows were extremely lumpy but strangely quite flat - shower pressure was a dribble

It was amazing! This place was so peaceful and beautiful. My room was great, very comfortable and nice. The outside and pool area were so nice, it is just for the people at the villa so it felt like a private pool and lounge area. All I wanted to do was relax on the lounges and swim in the pool. The people who worked at the reception were also so nice and helpful, and the reception area at the Hotel Dom Manuel was very pleasant. A nice place to sit with a drink or snack outside. The location was also perfect! I walked a lot, but I could walk to everything! The closest beach was a 10 min walk away, and it was absolutely beautiful. The town is also a 10 min walk away, so easy to go to dinner and shops, but not too close that it is loud or crowded.

our studio was small. one chair to share. was in another house than the hotel which we were not informed when we booked. the room was termed a suite which it was not.
