Cremona - a hidden pearl

Erica is a very nice host, she answered always quickly and the contact was easy. The flat which lies in the ground floor to a courtyard is quiet in the night and well equipped, the city highlights as the violin museum and the historical town are in walking distance. I enjoyed my stay very much!

Centrally located, ground floor appartment.

On ground floor, no steps, secure courtyard, central position. Heated well.

The decor was perfecting functioning but aesthetically dated. From the 80s. Gold taps and brown kitchen.

Beautiful atmosphere, nice owner, good location, equipment.

I could hear the footsteps from the neighbors, or their alarm clock through the ceiling. The mattes was smelling like sweat.

Located at walking distance from the centre of the town, very close to the Violin museum.

No breakfast , but there were some cookies and toasts and also Coffee and tea available. Good location and safe. Excellent place to stay for exploring Cremona. Hosts very friendly

Superb

Everything was very neat and well decorated. The host was very welcoming and met us outside in spite of our late arrival and showed us the property. The location is only a 7 minute walk to the main piazza. Parking is tight but there we were able to fine free parking for overnight.

Very good option for city stay

Location was perfect, couldn't been better. City centre just around the corner. 500m from Marconi parking and still outside ZTL zone (beware driving, otherwise fees for entering zone) Very quiet at night, comfortable bed, Don't miss the huge market on saturday morning

una apprendista violinista a due passi dal museo del Violino in una casa da favola

La signora Erika si è offerta di venirmi a prendere alla stazione dei treni, l'ho apprezzato moltissimo, anche perché avevo una grande valigia. L'appartamento era come nella descrizione su booking, ma in aggiunta Erika mi ha dato anche una bicicletta, che ho gradito molto. L'appartamento è in un condominio tranquillo, protetto da un grande portone condominiale e cancello. All'interno ci sono decorazioni e quadri molto belli realizzate da Erika. L'appartamento è in via Belfuso, una stradina tranquilla a pochi passi dal museo del Violino: ciò mi ha permesso di ascoltare due audizioni con i violini di Stradivari del 1700 e di visitare il museo stesso, molto interessante. Cremona è davvero deliziosa e dalla casa di Erika, centralissima, si gira benissimo sia a piedi che in bici. La cattedrale è a 5 minuti a piedi, davvero spettacolare. Vicino all'appartamento c'è un grande supermarket. Erika è stata così gentile da regalarmi i prodotti per la colazione e un litro di acqua al mio arrivo (giorno di pasquetta). Nell'appartamento c'è anche un quaderno in cui gli ospiti possono lasciare commenti o ringraziamenti ai proprietari della casa. Casa degli Artisti è davvero un nome adatto a questa location, è molto attinente e suggestivo! Ho trascorso qui 3 giorni di pace, relax, musica e cultura.

Sarebbe utile una zanzariera anche alla finestra della camera, proprio come quella che è in bagno, perché poco prima del tramonto ci sono, in questo periodo (aprile) diversi pappataci.
