Schöne 3 1/2 Zimmer Wohnung in der Zentralschweiz

The apartment is very attractive in a peaceful area. It was clean and well stocked. The beds are comfy and we found the areas like the TV room and kitchen to be warm and enjoyable. We made breakfast here a couple of mornings and it was nice. Loved the ability to listen to the stereo. The host lives on the bottom floor and is readily available if you need anything. She was friendly and spoke English. We felt like it was important to her that we enjoyed our stay. The area is quiet and peaceful with the sound of distant cows and the occasional motorcycle. I stayed here with my parents but would bring my entire family here for sure. Perfect place for relaxation.

I knew there was no AC but some fans would've been nice. It wasn't hot during our stay but I would've been miserable if it were. Other than only minor gripes. The wooden floor creaks pretty loud at times. I woke my parents up twice by simply walking to the bathroom. I was worried I would wake my host up as well by walking around at night. There are no doors for the rooms, just curtains. At first I was unable to get the stove top to work. Thankfully Google AI helped me bypass the child lock feature that prevented it from coming on. (see photo) Menznau is pretty small with limited options for restaurants but not the fault of the property. It was OK.

It's a second story walk-up with large rooms. I like being in the country and seeing the cows. It's a 20-minute drive to Lucerne so I found it convenient.

There was a fly issue. They were flying around my head while I was trying to sleep, and so I had to sleep with my face covered.
