Hôtel La Canopée

staff were very helpful and pleasant - even after heatwave conditions in Paris

This hotel is a gem. It’s in an old row house within walking distance of most major attractions. Many restaurants nearby. Rooms are quirky (particularly in the small rooms) but incredibly charming. Everything is immaculate, and it all works. Breakfast is outstanding. Staff could not be better. We loved the feeling of being in the “real” Paris. Fewer tourists and souvenir shops. The experience was all we hoped for, and we will go back on our next trip.

Not much negative to say. The hotel is not inexpensive, but it is absolutely consistent with Paris standards, and there is genuine value for the money. The rooms are not large. Would be hard to have a family in one of them.

Loved the decor and great price for this location and standard of the hotel.

Rooms were small but to be expected in a big city.

The staff was kind of rude, spoke poor English and housekeeping entered both days the room without approval while i was inside sleeping
