This was ideal for three nights’ stay before beginning my onwards journey.

It’s central which is great for easy access to the beach and to restaurants.

There’s a lot of noise at night even until 1 in the morning. Bring earplugs or make sure you have a room well away from the roads.

Great location in Camps Bay

Perfect location, secure and easy access with gate fob provided. Helpful staff. Nice pool area. Security personnel also outside on street. Great cafe opposite 'The Pottery'. Very close to main strip, shopping arcade and the beach - you'd struggle to find a better location..

The Room was a little tired. Very old electric points - no USB points - you'll need your own adapter if you're from abroad. You'll get the odd power cut but the generators on site back up essential lights etc...

Value for money ... not much worked so what did we pay for??? A bed, no electricity or air con!!!

Location was very central. Apartment was clean. Plenty of places to eat.

Electricity was out for 4-5 hours a day. Not fun when you're in the shower and the lights go out !!! Not fun when you're packing your bags getting ready to check out and the lights go out!!! You should provide a torch or candles so you can see what you're doing. Not fun when you are laying in bed with perspiration running down your face and you have no Air con. The ceiling fan in the main kitchen area did not work. The wifi didn't really work ... if electricity was down everything was down including the fridge ... never had any cold drinks. Very noisy at night with the locals singing and traffic noise.

Great location, but the property can use an upgrade.

The location was really good, it was central and has everything you need for a stay in Cape Town. It's close to restaurants and small supermarkets.

The host who was in contact with me on whatsapp was really abrupt and doesn't quite know how to speak to guests. We had a manual electricity meter being installed in the room, which I understand work needs to be done, but this meter nearly ran out of electricity during the night and was constantly beeping. When we arrived after check in time which meant self check in, we paid for a parking bay which was quite a distance in the pouring rain, up narrow little stairs. I understand the layout cannot be changed, but if we were informed about the far away parking bay we could have adjusted our schedules and planned to come during the day so we can at least see. We wanted to keep our valuables in the safe, but the safe had a low battery. The shower is also very strange to operate and the pressure is either non existent or completely high.

Spacious place right next to the family beach

Location of the hotel was great. It is just next to the Camps Bay Beach. The apartment was big and comfortable. Nothing special, beside the nice dinning table with the big windows to the sea.

Although it was located next to Camps Bay Beach, we did not really enjoy that particular peach, we went there only once because we liked other beaches more. Unfortunately the apartment had no electricity while there was load shedding. Our other hotel had at least light during that time. When we arrived we had difficulties with the shower, because the water was not going down. After a call at the reception it was fixed the same day.

NO ELECTRICITY OR BACKUP GENERATOR for daily 8 hour scheduled power cuts

the staff were non responsive and weren’t very helpful. Due to load shedding we had no electricity for over 8 hours in the day. They have no backup nor did they provide the units with any sort of rechargeable battery light. We pretty much had no electricity in the first 12 hours and went to bed in the dark and woke up still with no electricity to dry our hair or anything. I tried to call the staff at night to send a light and they didn’t respond. in the morning We were promised a rechargeable battery light that never arrived. I then asked if we could just get our money back and move elsewhere and they just stopped communicating. they have no plans to put in a generator or solar so I would avoid this place unless you happy to go without electricity! as South Africa has power regular scheduled power cuts for 8 hours a day!

Loved our stay in The village but thought it had gotten a little unsavoury on the strip with constant pestering by beggars. It was a bit off-putting but didn't feel dangerous.

Poor communication. I was moved after one night because they had double booked. We had to put up with cleaners in our room because our other suite wasn't ready. So we had to pack again. Very frustrating .Also it advertises entrance to Sandy B . We were there 3 days.Nobody responded to our request to enter the resort.
