Quiet, comfortable, well-equipped, nice location, and excellent host.
Our stay at Little India Vijlen apartment 1 was wonderful. The hostess was very warm and welcoming. She is the sort of individual you would want as a neighbor. She led us to the apartment above her home and showed us all the areas and amenities. The apartment is well appointed, well-lit and comfortable. You can control the heat or A/C (though it is still cool and the A/C was not used). The bed was super comfortable. The water was hot when we needed it, with good pressure. The windows could be opened completely to allow in fresh air and blinds were in good condition allowing for total blackout when sleeping. There were many electrical outlets in all areas of the room. We were able to park our car in front of her home.
Not a negative for us, just a reality, like many previous places we have stayed in NL, the stairs to get to the apartment are steep and may present a problem for people with mobility issues. I would recommend this apartment to any friend.

Excellent location and a very good host
The host thought of every single thing. Every niche had a hidden surprise. Like a pantry hidden in a wooden cupboard. Very cozy. She also made it a point to wait for us when we were checking out to have a brief chat. Much appreciated.
