Excellent apartment

Excellent location and one of the nicest apartments we've stayed in, comes with parking spot which is a major bonus, lovely bib bathroom and Spa Bath is very nice but had to scroll reviews to find out how to turn it on ( switch outside bathroom door ) Will definitely stay again when next in Caernarfon. Thank you

It was a very enjoyable break away from home and the road network was really good.

The location was good. It was quiet and central for exploring the area. The bathroom was amazing, the sofas comfortable and it was clean and tidy. Convenient space for the car.

The only cooking facilities were a microwave, and a toaster and there was no freezer compartment. No recycling boxes/bags or facilities provided. Other properties we have stayed at have always had recycling facilities and instructions. The key was great for locking the outer front door once we'd figured it out but unlocking it was always sheer luck [the inner door was fine] There was only one hand towel. No coffee machine, these are things we have had at apartments costing a lot less. No teaspoons and no small sharp vegetable knife, we had to use the bread knife! The dining table was rather large and squashed in the corner and not very cosy for eating at. No list of good places to eat out at.

Nice fully equipped apartment in prime location with free parking included

The apartment was great value for money, situated right opposite the castle in a prime location, parking at the rear of the property was included and free, pre communication from the hosts was excellent.

The bed was quite hard but that was personal preference, the kitchen lacked any tea spoons, other than this everything was great! If we visit the area again we will definitely stay here and hopefully for longer than 1 night.

Loved Our Stay At Bank Quay

Loved the apartment, very comfy, the bath was amazing. The location was great, and the parking space was brilliant.

The only problem we had, and its rare for Wales. was the heat, 29 on Friday, 31 Saturday. There was no fan in the room, and the windows didnt look like they would open.

Could be better with few minor changes

Location great General setup was good including a very decent sized modern bathroom. All in all ok and passable. The conclusion would be that if the owner spent £50 on the basics listed below the experience would have been completely different

No tea, coffee, only one glass, chipped cup, no cookware or means of cooking . The lock on the door was a challenge to operate, the shower temperature was not adjustable

Top local next to town/castle walls, had good car parking. Very spacious and comfortable apartment.

I struggled with the front door, took many attempts to lock & unlock. Seems previous guess’s depleted the supply of cutlery.

Could be a great place.

Location was great. Mostly clean and comfortable.

When we got there it was freezing in the apartment. Looked everywhere for an instruction manual or the controller, ended up having to call the owners. Luckily they live upstairs. The controls are behind a locked door with no access for anyone stopping there. You can’t have the DVD player on and the fire as there are not enough plug sockets. I hadn’t realised when I booked that there was no cooker only a microwave, although the plates didn’t fit in the microwave and there was nothing to use to warm anything up in. We ended up going to Morrisons and buying some Tupperware to enable us to warm food up. The kitchenette is very basic 2 plates, 2 bowls, 2 knives etc. The controls for the jacuzzi bath don’t work on the bath, you have to flick the switch outside the bathroom door for the jets to work. The shower was so hot, you had to switch it on and off to get it to cool down. So feels like the thermastat and/ or controls are not working. The shower wasn’t as clean as the rest of the apartment. No bathmat you had to use a towel. There is a sofa and chair in the bedroom but they are pushed up against the wardrobes so you have to move them to get into the wardrobe. DVD player didn’t work and even the owners don’t know why.

Cleanliness. Beautiful decor. Warm.comfy .I really was having a great time untill unfortunate circumstances brought my time to a devastating end,I'm so heartbroken about the death of my cat and this hosta attitude and total disregard of a paying customers feelings and situation made me feel so sad I cried for hrs

The attitude of the host was diabolical .I telephoned the next day to apologise as I was goingvto be late check out as my cat was attacked and subsequently put asleep.i was distraught as my cat was 16 yrs old and part of my family,when I arrived i offered some payment as an appreciation for being understanding ,I was threatened spoke down to treated with such contempt I have not stopped crying ,my sister was with me for support due to the cat circumstances and she is going to the trading standards as she's dumbfounded and disgusted that a businesswoman who is supposed to be a gate for the tourists that come to caernarfon would treat a customer with such disgust ,I have gone to the police as I was threatened and also my belongings she has stolen .I do hope that this was just a bad day for her as repetitive behaviour like this looks bad for the hoteliers of caernarfon that do on my experience a fantastic job
