The location is very accessible to the station, supermarkets, food stalls and market.

The stairs is narrow if carrying luggage (even for medium size).

The self check-in process was easy and convenient. The property is also very close to the station, making it easy to travel around.

Nothing in particular. Everything was good.

It was quiet and clean and offered things to use for cooking and such

It was a little small so if you're tall you may have some problems

The neighbourhood is really quiet and nice, with a large market between the guest house and the train station, konbinis 1min walk, etc. It is close to the station, easy to find, and has self-check in. The hosts were super quick to reply to any messages. The building was in good condition, and you will have almost everything for your stay. For the good price and booking sort of last minute, it was ok!

This was not a host issue, but a guest issue: Each two rooms share a kitchen, so it is a matter of luck if your neighbours will be well behaved. Both first nights/days the kitchen smelled horribly of rotten food. I msg the hosts about it the first night and they immediately went in to change the bag and try to extract the smell, but the next day same thing happened. So we didn't use the kitchen and always closed our room door quickly so the smell wouldn't spread to our room. Maybe having a rubbish bin outside the apartment would be better! Another guest issue was that one of the days we wanted to use the laundry room (2 washers + 2 driers), but someone decided to use the 2 driers simultaneously for their clothes. We complained to the staff (cleaner?) there which at first did nothing, but eventually took the clothes from the 2nd drier so we could use it. Smaller things also should be improved like the tatami and back of mattress/futon were stained, black mold on the curtains, there was a dirty towel left from previous guests on the laundry basket, a receipt left on the shelf, and as many other reviews said, if you have a lot of luggage and there are two people, there is no space to open the bags, you need to fold the futon away and play tetris everyday. I would still stay here for the good price value and location, but there are some issues that should be considered.
