Stag Cottage at Broadings Farm

The cottage was beautifully and was so well equiped you had everything you needed for your stay 2 spacious bedrooms both ensuite large living room come diner 30 minutes walk into Whitby or 5 minutes by taxi very central for visiting surrounding locations such as Pickering or Scarborough would definitely stay here again look forward to a return visit in the future.

If anything the little grass verge was narrow that you walked down to get into whitby very busy main road

location good no steps or stairs which is why I chose it. can park car outside the door which is another bonus for me as I find walking distance a struggle, would recommend cottage

in bedroom the plugs and lamp switches are behind the headboard so tricky to access as I have medical items that need to be plugged in beside the bed. Wi-Fi went off Thursday morning and never came back on wouldn’t of minded if they’re was a tv in bedroom only tv is in the living room and when a group visit you need more than one as I don’t go out on a night. small dogs can get through the gaps in fence/gate so couldn’t let them roam garden without lead on. The strip beds rule before leaving which is something I can’t do and rely on someone else doing for me my mum struggled to do too as she’s got hand problems I feel this rule should be stated before booking to make people aware as someone disabled could find it hard

Close to main road traffic noise

The property was very well situated to travel in and out of Whitby and to explore Robin Hoods Bay, Runswick Bay etc. Less than 5 minutes drive into Whitby and easily walkable. The property was modern and really excellent in every way and could not be faulted. I would highly recommend it and although not a requirement for us being on one level very disabled friendly.
