Fantastic location, comfy, clean and private

Excellent location being so close to town. Very private backyard and plenty of room for the family. Great response from host and very accommodating of our extra vehicle. Very clean and comfortable. Cute little chocolate treat.

We loved the set up of the house, very comfortable and feels like a home away from home. Love that it is so close to town and the river. The sunroom is an added bonus with amazing views of the sunset.

Cosy cottage, very relaxing, close to shops and handy for day trips.

We stayed 7 nights in this lovely house and used it as a base for day trips to Hobbiton (only 30mins away), Tauranga, Rotorua, Blue Spring and National Kiwi Hatchery. (We could have used it as a base for Waitomo Cave too.) It has a gorgeous glass sun room with stunning views. I enjoyed reading a book and thoroughly relaxing on the long summer evenings - nice sunsets. The kitchen is fantastic and it’s handy to have a laundry. The TV is a good size for movie watching. It was a lovely touch to have a little Christmas tree with lights. We are a family of four with two young adult sons and we had plenty of room. Beds were comfy and the shower was good. If you’re staying in NZ for a little while get a New World Supermarket app to get the Club Discounts, this saved quite a bit of money. (Special thank you to the owners as we left a jumper on the washing line and they found it and we came back to collect it on our return to the airport.)

The kitchen was fabulous but there was a lack of basics - olive oil, salt and pepper - so we needed to buy a few things. Happily the supermarket was about 500m away so this is a very minor thing. There is a nearby road so it’s not silent. But it’s so handy to walk out to a cafe to get a coffee or tea, or the supermarket.

It was lovely and clean. Great location. Great view. Love the few extra touches - cereal/choc bars/milk etc provided and the xmas decorations 😀. I would def stay there again.

Great place to stay in Cambridge!

This property was perfect for our family of 6 (we were 3 couples). It was comfortable and conveniently located near town that everything was in walking distance. No need to drive anywhere. Had a beautiful sunroom that faces east for great morning coffee and sunrises. Hosts were extremely accommodating for our check in time. Will definitely stay here again if we get to come back to this area

The beds were too soft with the topper pads. The lounge was nice and warm but the DVS system constantly blew freezing air into the bedrooms and couldn’t be turned off.

Well appointed and very comfortable accommodation. It was amazing to be able to bring our fur babies with us and they were safe in the back yard. Excellent central location - you wouldn't even need a car here as you can walk to everything in town with the supermarket literally only a five minute walk. Highly recommend the Indian takeaway and the fish and shop takeaway as recommended in the folder provided - both were excellent - burgers at T&S are INCREDIBLE!!! Worth a visit (and the money!). Will definitely use this accommodation again.

What an INCREDIBLE find!!!! Like a diamond in the rough, this was an absolute gem of a place to stay :) We were staying for an event nearby with all 5 of us finding this accommodation the BEST part of whole trip!! Stunning home with modern, super comfortable and clean, fresh interiors and a lovely large parking area :) The views were BEAUTIFUL, you would never know you were in the heart of Cambridge!! But in fact, just a stone's throw from food, supermarkets, shops etc! We will definitely be back <3

Family wedding at the Red Barn in Tirau

10/10!!! Accommodation was spacious, warm, clean and well equipped. The owners were lovely and communication was always fast and efficient. They were very accommodating allowing us an early check-in to settle our 4month old baby. There's also a portacot in the cupboard. Walking distance to retail, supermarket and restaurant. 15-20min drive to our wedding venue at the Red Barn in Tirau. Would definitely book again.

The location was great, the house is pretty nice, comfortable and close to everything I love it. Definitely recommend, however would like to do a recommendation as it’s a pet friendly apartment, maybe you may need to put extra protection on the fence outside in the green area, as it’s pretty unsafe for pets to go down the fence as the main road are really close.
