A lovely cottage. Would stay there again.

I had a fan in my room but there wasn’t one in at least one of the other bedrooms. As it was summer and quite warm, it made sleeping a little difficult for one guest. Also, we couldn’t locate the light switch to the lounge area at first but found it located behind the router, which was behind the lounge door. Rather an odd place for a light switch!

Perfect as a hub when visiting Hobbiton and the glowworm caves.

Beautiful house, well equipped. The neighbour Peter was very nice and helped us with the barbeque so that we could fix dinner. Owner should buy him a beer.

Most beautiful cottage in a fab location

Bryce Cottage was stunning! The house itself was absolutely spotless and so well maintained. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the town. Facilities were fantastic. We had everything would could possibly need. Such a beautiful place.

Beautiful 100 year old cottage. Tastefully decorated. 3 bedrooms 2 queen and 1 king. Central location close to restaurants and cbd. Has everything you need just loved it.

Great Location, homey feeling and comfort.

I loved the location close to city center and park. We could walk to where we needed to go which made it easier to get around. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed. Beds were comfortable and it had a homey feel to the old victorian house.

Little things that could be improved: please put a chain on the tub plug as we couldn't get it out to drain the tub which was disappointing, loved the tub. It would be helpful to add capability to hang clothes in Master as there is no closet. Maybe a small armoire or wall hooks?

The house can give guests a homey feeling, very comfortable. The location is top-notch, just a few minutes' walk to the city center. The kitchen is a major highlight, not only fully equipped but also meticulously arranged, making everything easily accessible and usable.

It would be perfect if there was one more bathroom.
