Spanking new park view retreat

Clean, plenty of room. 2 showers, 2 toilets, actually there was nothing we didn't like about it. Definately sray again fir sure.

There was nothing to duslike

The house was warm, comfortable, spacious and easily accommodated our family of 6 adults and 2 children. It was very quiet and the location next to the playground was great for the children, and handy to other places we visited. There were sufficient pots and pans and cleaning cloths in the kitchen. It was good to have the plastic bowls for little kids.

We were advised to contact the day before departure to see about an extended checkout time, which we did but received no answer to our message. Nor an answer about where to find the hot tub. The description says "The hot tub is a top feature of this holiday home" but it seems there is no hot tub. It would be good to have a coffee plunger, a couple of bowls (eg for salad) and more side plates (only 3 in the drawers).

Plenty of room to spread out for our family of five! The nearby playground was lots of fun also.

We actually traveled for my son inlaws mothers funeral the house was close enough for us to travel to the Cambridge Community Marae daily - it was nice to come home to a warm house where we could relax and close enough to trave to town to get food. The property manager answered her phone promptly when my daughter phoned to say the couch broke when she sat on it and the fire alarm in the hallway was constently beeping. Someone took the wheelie bin out but did not return it and we weren't sure if we were ment to bring it back in.

I think the house could do with netting curtains as anyone could see through the windows and the two story house next door could see into the house so it felt like we couldnt walk around with eg undies on as maybe we would be seen in the house so the house drapes were closed the whole time we where there. The dish washer only had one tablet for it,there wash no dishwashing liquid availble to use or a cloth to wipe benches down. We could not find any cupboards with the extra linen in eg sheets, pillow slip as stated in the papers in the tv room we searched. It would have been nice to have had extra towels availabe as I am a big person i have long hair and I like to shower twice a day, the drier was not keeping up with us it took a long time to dry everything there was no line outside that maybe we would have been able to hang our clothes outside and then finish in the drier by the third day we where using the clothes rack. The hoover was clogged up in the bottom piece so we had to google how to fix. I also feel that for the price we paid this was home we should of had these availble for us also maybe a little milk for when we first arrived as at other accomodation I have had we have all of these available.
