Contemporary Victorian Townhouse - walking distance to train station and Chester city centre

• We were able to enjoy separate bedrooms (eventually) • We all had good size beds. • Spacious rooms with comfy furniture. • Had a TV set up with Netflix and boardgames for entertainment. • The house was only a short walk from the city centre and had easy access to public transport or Ubers. • There was a Morrisons Daily just down the road which we went to for some basics like milk and snacks.

• When we got there one of the bedrooms was locked even though I'd previously confirmed with the owner that we required all three rooms. After a phone call we did get the code for the lock. • There were minimal washing products, washing up liquid in the kitchen ran out but luckily there was a dishwasher. We just had to leave a few things in the sink that we were unable to wash. • It says on the listing there are two bathrooms (ideal for 3 friends sharing) which would imply for most that there are two rooms with a toilet, sink and bath. The second bathroom is just a toilet right next to the main bathroom. • There was no hand-wash or soap in the toilet room, and the hand-wash in the main bathroom was actually washing up liquid, I didn't really use the main bathroom besides to shower so I didn't notice until our last day.

Really good location, we walked into town and to and from the station, very quiet. We had everything that we needed and plenty of room

Great location less than a 10 mins walk from the station and walking distance from the Centre. Accommodation was very clean and comfy with all that was needed for a short stay. It’s on a busy road but the noise didn’t impact us. We’d stay here again and recommend to others.

Some information about the locality, bus timetables, recommended places to eat etc would have been appreciated aswell as instructions for oven , heating etc. A bedside lamp and table in the attic bedroom and hand towels for all guests would have been useful.

Location was great, only 8 minutes walk from the station and for me that's about all I can say positive

It was pretty run down, outside the front was a bit of a mess, internally was incredibly dated decor and furniture with a musty and strong cooked food smell and in need of a total refresh. The bedding was hard and itchy and didnt even smell feeshly cleaned. All in all pretty dissappointing and personally wouldnt recommend. 4/10
