Not worth the money, avoid

Location was ok but there are similar places for a little more money.

Hosts in the garden all evening when I would have liked to sit and relax. Linen and house has a lingering cigarette smell. Rats/vermin running across ceiling during the night kept me awake. Everything is dated. Electricity points look dangerous cutting board had food stuck to it. Just all felt a bit yucky.

Authentic Greek Accomodation

Authentic little granny flat. Cute kitchen with most necessities. Gorgeous little garden. Aki was very friendly and helpful. Easy location to airport and old town. Very quiet, quaint area.

Not totally accessible by car, so had to walk through side streets with luggage.

Kind host and unbeatable location for airport

Booked it due to its proximity to the airport as I had a very early flight. For this reason it was worth it. The shortcut was a major help! Also Mr Akis went out of his way to source an alarm clock for me as I was concerned about waking up in time. I really appreciated it. A very kind man who gave me fruit (that I then forgot!)

The check in can be autonomous, we just got the keys from a smart lock (with a code combination). The service is 11/10 , Akis was very nice, even drove us to the bus station. It's not fancy, but it definitely has its charm and everything you might need.

Everything was amazing. Mr.Akis is a great man; he offered us vegetables from his garden, eggs and wine made by himself; The room is actually a fully equipped studio with everything you need. The property is close to the airport(19mins walk) and to the old town(25mins walk) as well (can take bus 2A ,€1.70/one way or €5/day pass ticket to city or Kanoni - by shop). Everything was absolutely amazing.Thank you.

Authentic Greek village home with lovely host

Very close to airport (we stayed the night before our flight) it is a 10 minute walk to airport. Akis takes care of his clients and equipped the apartment before our arrival, there were waters for us as well as fresh fruit (peaches, nectarines). Soaps and detergents were provided as well. The host also gave us good advice on how to get to the airport and made sure everything was good for us

A large apartment with everything I needed. Perfectly clean, a garden area for having breakfast (not provided) and a supermarket just round the corner. Good value.

Some initial difficulty obtaining the key, which was not in the key box as stated. However a phone call soon put that right.

really lovely apartment in a much quieter part of the town, very close to the airport, which was brilliant. I was very kindly allowed to leave my luggage there for the day, and we felt very welcomed. A bit of a longer walk into the centre - about 20-25 minutes, but worth it for a lovely area, and very close proximity to the airport.

A wholesome oasis

Staying at Akis Garden was a highlight of my stay in Corfu. Staying alone as part of a solo adventure around Greece and Eastern Europe, Akis and his wife greeted me warmly, and made me feel very welcome and at home. They made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed, even giving me some eggs and lettuce leaves from their beautiful garden. They also gave me laundry liquid for washing my clothes in the washing machine. Furthermore, they gave me instructions for the bus to the port for my departing ferry. The cottage itself is very homey and it was a wholesome stay. I look forward to hopefully coming back one day. Thank you again!

Really cozy place, with a charm. Very friendly and hospitable host! It was incredibly clean, for the hygiene freak that I am it was absolutely pleasant to be at Akis' place! The kitchen is fully equipped: there is a fridge, gas stove and an oven, water-heating kettle and all the rest what you need. The boiler is fast and you can then take a really hot shower! The wifi is perfect. And the location is strategic - next to the airport (walking distance indeed!) and only few minutes away from the windmill beach that is truly amazing at sunset (sorry, couldn't manage to see the sunrise), quiet and people were swimming there even in the end of January! The local Mon Repos shop is just around the corner with everything you could need, fruits and veggies, pasta, olives, etc. + local kumquat liqueur that is a must! The owner is very friendly and speaks good English too!

What a wonderful cottage in a wonderful island

The location is near the airport so we took a taxi since its dark at night and we didn't have any gps with no data SIM card in Corfu, Greece. When the taxi driver dropped us, we had to pay double with US$ cash as we didn't even though the officer in airport said taxi drivers could take credit card. Fortunately Mr Akis left us a lot of fresh fruit from his garden that night and gave us suggestions on where to visit the next morning. We had wonderful self touring and when we went to the cruise port (we flew to Corfu to board the ship as we missed the cruise ship at the original port), Mr Akis drove us himself to make sure we could get to the right place. He even waited for us to make sure it's the right port for our ship. B4 we left with his car, he showed us around his garden and gave us more fruits from his trees. What a wonderful experience. The apartment was cute, quiet and sufficient. Everything we asked via booking messaging system eg heat, hot water, wifi, it was promptly replied and resolved. Thank you so much for a wonderful side trip Mr and Mrs Akis.

Loved my stay and can only recommend everything - top notch!

I loved the place so much. It was superclean, big room with 2 comfy beds, chair and table in case you need to work. TV and super fast wifi. Fully equipped kitchen, washing machine (There was even detergent and washing liquid), great hot shower. Window in the bathroom. The owners are super friendly and I got some fresh fruit from the garden and sweet bakery as a snack. Everything was perfect and I can't recommend it enough
