Baita Mael

The owner was very easy to contact and she replied promptly. The property was spotless and comfortable. The air-conditioning/heating worked well and it was easy to operate. The wi-fi worked well. The view was wonderful and the garden and view were lovely. We had the whole place to ourselves, but it was very quiet, with only the cow and goat bells to be heard. There was some noise at the weekend when the local motorcyclists took to the mountain roads leading to the top of Mottarone, but otherwise the quiet and fresh air was just wonderful. The owner met us a little before the property to show us the way. The road up to the property is narrow, but not a problem if you take it slowly. The owner was also helpful with suggestions of places to see.

We loved it all, but it might be useful to know that there are a couple of steps down to the bedroom (ground floor flat).

Clean, very well equipped, tranquil and stunning location and view. Super friendly and helpful host.

Steep driveway, not suitable for all cars.
