Hidden fees, cash deposit, hinting for tips, and problems with check-in. Not worth the hassle.

nice location and view.

The hosts were polite, but there was a clear pattern of “friendly” pressure : — private massage in WhatsApp for extra payment — the hosts charged additional costs for bed linen and towels, also + 20€ per person for laundry. at the end we paid + 135€ more. — cash deposit requirement that was not clearly mentioned in the listing. it’s okay, but we hadn’t cash 300€. — check-in also had unexpected issues despite earlier arrangements. P.S. but Silvia, who was responsible for the property, was a kind and helpful woman.

Be Aware: hidden costs! This is not at all communicated clearly when you book. NO BEDLINNENS and TOWEL INCLUDED!! You will be charged 18 euro per person. Outragious amount for bedlinnens and towels. Which should be standard available in my opinion.

Beautiful leider nur der Ausblick.

Der Ausblick auf den See war schon beeindruckend.

Straße und Bahn direkt hinter dem Haus sind sehr laut. Haus liegt zwischen alten Fabrik Ruinen kein schönes Ambiente. Ohne Klimaanlage und ohne Insektenschutz an den Fenstern macht das lüften zur Mutprobe.

Prima onderkomen voor een week Lago d'orta

Het uitzicht vanaf het appartement op het meer was prachtig.

Locatie van het appartement bevindt zich buiten het centrum van de plaats. Er staan oude achterstallige panden naast het appartementencomplex. Is op loopafstand van het centrum te doen maar, niet dagelijks een paar keer te bewandelen.

Bell'alloggio, ma attenti alle condizioni

Alloggio molto bello e spazioso, pulito e con visuale sul lago. Cucina ben attrezzata

Ci vorrebbe un po` di manutenzione (asse del wc rotto, zoccolino dei mobili della cucina che ti cade sui piedi quando apri la lavastoviglie). Dover dare 300 euro di cauzione in contanti all'arrivo e` fastidioso ma, soprattutto, e` fastidioso dover scalare dalla restituzione della cauzione 19.90 euro A PERSONA per la biancheria, nel nostro caso (famiglia di 4 persone) quasi 80 euro! E questa spesa non e` chiaramente indicata al momento della prenotazione, ma si nasconde nelle condizioni, il che comporta un confronto sleale con le altre strutture che per la maggior parte non fanno pagare a parte questo servizio. Lascia l'amaro in bocca.

Majoittuminen Orta -järvellä toukokuun alussa 2025

Asunnosta on kauniit näkymät järvelle; maisema on kuin taulu 😍. Pihassa on laituri, josta pääsee uimaan. Asunto on todella tilava ja hyvin varusteltu sekä erittäin siisti. Sijainti on mukavasti lähellä keskustaa. Asunnolta pääsee kätevästi autolla Mottarone -vuorelle ja sieltä on huikeat näkymät eri suuntiin. Huipulla on myös ravintoloita ja mukava meininki; paljon motoristeja. Sieltä voi myös lähteä vaellukselle erilaisille reiteille.

Meitä ei haitannut, mutta herkkäunista saattaa viereisen tien ja rautatien liikenteen äänet hiukan häiritä. Myös maksuasioita piti selvitellä, mutta nekin kyllä saatiin sovittua nopeasti ja ystävällisesti majoittajan kanssa. Kannattaa varautua vakuusmaksuun (300 €), joka tulee maksaa käteisellä majoittumisen ajaksi. Maksun saa takaisin sitten, kun majoitus päättyy. Se on myös hyvä tietää, että saapumisaika on sovittava melko tarkkaan etukäteen. Kun ilmeisesti itsepalvelu -sisäänkirjautuminen ei ole mahdollista ja majoittaja tai hänen ystävänsä tulee avaamaan ovet ja antaa avaimet.

Nous aurions aimé rester quelques jours de plus

Emplacement parfait, au bord du Lac d’Orta, avec une magnifique vue sur le lac depuis les 3 terrasses que comporte l’appartement. De plus, il est tout près du centre historique, on peut s’y rendre à pieds. Appartement très propre, spacieux et lumineux.

Sehr schöne und geräumige Wohnung mit herrlichem Blick auf den See. Gute Ausstattung, mit Liebe eingerichtet.

Die Wohnung ist Teil eines normalen Wohnhauses, das in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft zu leerstehenden und verfallenden Gewerberuinen steht. Die Umgebung ist bis auf die unmittelbare Lage am See nicht sehr heimelig. Zudem liegt die Wohnung direkt an der Durchgangsstraße und fast direkt an der Bahnlinie.

Très confortable avec vue exceptionnelle sur le lac d'Orta

Le confort et le décor soigné de l'appartement ainsi que la vue superbe sur le lac d'Orta. L'emplacement géographique permettant un bon rayonnement en voiture dans la région des lacs. Le parking sécurisé dans la résidence, le ponton d'accès au lac (baignade) et la proximité des commerces d'Omegna (15' à pied). La gentillesse de Michela lors des check in/out.

La gestion de la récupération des clés : 1h30 d'attente devant un restaurant fermé à 20' de l'appartement bien qu'ayant fourni, à la demande du propriétaire, une fourchette horaire d'arrivée que nous avions fixée à 15' pour faciliter son organisation. Via Whats'app (uniquement texte, injoignable en phonie), explications fumeuses de la propriétaire justifiant l'absence, plus défaut d'information jusqu'à l'arrivée du responsable du restaurant qui n'était qu'un intermédiaire. En fin de séjour, la propriétaire a toutefois accepté de ne pas facturer la fourniture du linge de lit et de toilette à titre de dédommagement. Il est à noter que la fourniture du linge (19,20 €/personne) n'est pas réellement une option. En effet le réglement intérieur consultable sur place prévoit des frais de nettoyage de 65€/personne en cas de non utilisation du linge de lit fourni (garantie d'hygiène pour tous les clients). Cette clause mériterait d'apparaître sur Booking rubrique "conditions de l'établissement".
