Located in Omegna, at the northern end of Lago d’Orta, the Garage is an independent apartment of 110 square meters. obtained from a portion of the garage.
It has 2 bedrooms: one double with private bathroom with bathtub and one bedroom with 2 single beds. There is also a second bathroom with a shower.

We really enjoyed our stay at Giacomo's garage. The appartement is situated about 50 to 100m elevated above Lago d'Orta. It is about 10min walk (steep though) to centre of Omegna where you will find sufficient restaurants and shops. The appartment is well equipped and if we needed anything Giacomo and Claudia were very responsive. When we arrived, the Jacuzzi was broken due to recent storms. They said it would take almost a week for the new one to arrive. When we asked if this could be arranged sooner, they made sure it arrived and was set up in one day! Claudia gave all kinds of tips for shops and restaurants. Although the appartment is next to Giacomo's house, we felt privacy was well assured. Highly recommended if you want to visit this beautiful area!

Giacomo was great to deal with and helped us find ebikes to rent. This is an awesome biking area! The town of Omegna has few tourists from the US or Canada - which we enjoyed. The house has a very Italian feel - even w the garage motif ( very tastefully done!). Also Giacomo dropped off some wonderful garden vegetables for us - which we used during our weeks stay. Lake Orta is beautiful and with this rental we had a great view. The rental sits a 10 minute walk above the town - not an issue for us as we are fit and had a car - and the ebikes! This is a two bedroom place but it is very spacious!!!!

Welcomed by Claudia, Giacomo, and Claudia's daughter Letizia. They answered every question we had about the area and gave us lot's of extra info. They couldn't helpmus enough during our 2 weeks stay. Apartment has everythingbyiu need, and a great welcome pack to start you on your way. Omegna is a perfect location, lovely and quiet, but easy access to more busier parts of Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore. We absolutely loved our stay, thank you and hope to return soon.

Die Teilnahme am UTLO war der Anlass, mit 2 Lauffreunden ein verlängertes Wochenende in dieser schönen Wohnung zu verbringen. Die Lage mit kurzem Weg zum Start/Ziel war für uns perfekt. Aber auch den herrlichen Blick auf den See und die Berge konnten wir von der Wohnung sehr genießen. Die Ankunft war sehr herzlich! Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

De woning ziet er strak uit, is ruim opgezet en van alle gemakken voorzien. Daarnaast heb je een prachtig uitzicht over Omegna, het meer en de bergen er achter. De eigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en schiet te hulp bij he minst of geringste. Dit is echt een aanrader.

Nous avons loué cet appartement une semaine. C'est un très chouette et atypique logement. Beaucoup de place, très confortable. Le jacuzzi sur la terrasse est bien sympa en rentrant de balade. La terrasse est aussi un belle endroit pour manger, la vue sur le lac est bien agréable. Les proprios sont vraiment très sympas et répondent rapidement à toutes vos questions et demandes. Logement que nous vous conseillons !!! Un tout grand merci à Alice et Giacomo pour cette belle semaine de vacances. Famille Vertongen-Minne

Fantastic stay at this home

We received a very warm welcome when we arrived at the house. There were delicious tomatoes from Giacomo's garden and things to make a pasta after our long trip. The house is large and very clean. Also important it is cool when the weather is hot. There is a big kitchen where all things you need to cook are available. There are two terraces (one with a jacuzzi), the one at the front has a beautiful view over the lake. There is a private parking space and the house is located in a quit neighborhood. Omegna is a nice town were you can find restaurants and all the shops you need to buy groceries. It is about a 10 minutes walk from the house. There is a small boulevard where you can sit and drink your coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. We did a lot of hiking in the mountains and visited places around Lago d'Orta, the area is beautiful. Lago Maggiore is about 20 minutes by car. The contact we had with Giacomo, Claudia and Alice was very good, they are very nice and reacted quickly when we had questions. I can highly recommend this place for a stay.
