A nice stay but with a big disappointment !

The flat was nice and clean. I really liked that there were two bathrooms . The doors were really nice and it was warm inside . I enjoyed the quietness and the calm . Also the view from the windows was beautiful. We walked in the forest through the winding path that was really peaceful and exciting .

The bed was a big disappointment ! The mattress was not comfortable at all , it was cheap quality . The sheets were bad quality as well , the pillows were cheap and impossible to sleep on. It was such a pity as the bed it is quite important for me to rest well . The shower from the tub did not work so it was difficult to properly clean after a nice bath. I chose it especially for the tub as I love spending time in it.

Lovely apartment for visiting Monschau

Countryside location of Menzerath, the apartment is part of a detatched house with its own separate entrance. Spiral stairs lead to the upstairs entrance and a nice little balcony, good kitchen facilities, lovely sitting room and comfy bed with modern bathroom. A very nice apartment all round with a parking space. A lovely walk to Monschau of about 20 minutes, though a very steep path, good walking in the area. We got a free map of the area at the tourist Board in Monschau. It would be useful for there to be a map left for guests especially as when you arrive it’s not easy to know where to head to Monschau on foot and Google doesn’t show the walking routes easily. We were given good instruction on keys and other information and prompt response from the agent on any information we needed We’d definitely stay again if we visit beautiful Monschau

Although the apartment itself is lovely the path to it and the rest of the garden was a little unkempt during our stay. It didn’t appear the attached main house was inhabited. There were pine martens or similar in the roof space which made our 2 nights sleep very disturbed. Sounded as thought they were moving furniture and arguing with each other. It was mentioned to the agent so hopefully they have been moved out.

Exceptional

The accommodation was just overall perfect for our vacation to see the local Eifel area including Aachen and Cologne, as well as spending time with family and friends who live nearby. The host was in contact with my parents (who had organised the place on our behalf) and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. It was very private, relaxing, clean and newly renovated. We would definitely stay again in the near future.

Mooie omgeving en mooie vergezichten

Ruim appartement met 2 badkamers )wat wel bijzonder is voor een appartement voor 2 personen). met mooi uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer over de heuvels, Nette keuken van alle gemakken voorzien. Wandeling naar Monschau is kleine 30 minuten over steil pad met mooie uitzichten over Monschau

De afwasmachine stonk bij aankomst dus eerst aantal keren gespoeld en werd toen iets beter. Klein balkon waar de zon na 13 uur volledig weg is. Veel licht 's ochtends omdat de woonkamer en slaapkamer in 1 ruimte zitten waarbij de gordijnen in de woonkamer niet verduisterd is.

Schöne Tage hier verbracht

Großzügiger und gemütlicher Wohn- und Schlafraum, 2 Bäder. Küche gut ausgestattet. Sehr ruhige Gegend. Schöner Waldweg nahe der Unterkunft mit der Möglichkeit, zu Fuß in den Ort Monschau zu wandern.

Nichts zu nörgeln, nur eine winzige Kleinigkeit habe ich vermisst: eine beschichtete Pfanne zum Eier braten.

Ein sehr schönes, mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Apartment wo man sich gleich angekommen fühlt. Hat meine Erwartung zu 1000 % erfüllt und ich würde diese hübsche Wohlfühloase wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Danke für die schönen Tage, die wir bei Ihnen verbringen durften. Wer es ruhig mag, ist hier gut aufgehoben und den Weg ins schöne Städtchen Monschau nimmt man gerne in Kauf. :)
