You get what you pay for

Nice old apartment in the middle of the city at 50 m from the centre. You can drive your car to the apartment to unload, but cars are not allowed in the city centre. There are 2 paid parkings at around 200 m from the apartment. A 24h day ticket will cost you 7 euro. The machine will except up to 5 days. The kitchen is very well equipped and has some usefull amenities available (coffee, tea, salt & pepper etc). Many restaurants, bars and shops are on walking distance from your place. Monshau is great for hiking; beginner or experienced....

The bathroom is rather small and does not have sufficient heating. A very tiny electric heater that runs out after 2 m is a joke... very cold in authum/winter to wash yourself. It's really not a big deal to install a decent heater. I couldn't get the TV working... and the central heating system urgently needs to be bleeded from air; it makes a lot of noise wile using (at night).

For us, it was perfect. Maybe the hot water in the shower was either too hot or too cold. For the rest, perfect

Room is not as described

Beware! The room is not as described in the photos! It's in a different address and looks different. Shower is really small. Low water pressure. Water wasn't always hot. 2 twin beds which cannot stay connected (they move and not stay static).

great situation and good price for money

The situation is perfect. the apartment was clean and very well equipped. very cosy place

the parking place is a little bit remote, 10 min walk down the street but it was spacious. pity the person who accommodates is not coming to show the place, we had to look a bit to find it.

Comfortable and reasonably priced.

If you want to see Monschau then this is a very easy walk to the centre. It's quiet, has parking and is comfortable. It was perfect for our requirements, an overnight stay and a place we could easily explore the town from.

While it was good for what we wanted, it wasn't a place I'd want to spend too long in.

The llocation of this apartment was great -- very near the center of town. It was a little confusing getting into town and finding the check-in location, and I did not realize that there would be no parking with the apartment (although parking was only about 1/2 mile away.. The apartment was very clean and a good value, and our host was very kind and helpful (he had to find us and lead us to the check-in location). I would recommend this to other visitors to Monchau. adjac

Ce n'est pas une destination pour les francophones.

trés mauvaise organisation, boitier clé difficile a trouver, j'ai téléphonné mais repondeur, j'ai envoyé un maol et reçu la bonne réponse.

je n'ai pas apprécié la visibilité du boitier à clé, l'escalier extérieure est très dangereux glissant, la télévisio est réglée sans aucune chaine française, le logement est correct et bien situé en centre ville. Le logement est un peu cher.

Zestiger jaren, enkel glas, verwarming aan of uit maar niet comfortabel. Bedden ok, dekbedden veel te dik en kussens ook. Badkamer was moderner maar zonder verwarming (tijdens bezoek was het -5 buiten).

Enttäuschender Aufenthalt

Sehr zentrale Lage, guter schneller Check In und Check Out, Bettwäsche und Handtücher vorhanden

Wir haben eigentlich ein anderes Apartment gebucht mit anderen Fotos und haben aber das Studio im Erdgeschoss erhalten - nicht wirklich sauber, überall noch Spinnenweben (teilweise sehr viel, schaut bitte mal ums Bett herum) und Spinnen - es stinkt extrem im Zimmer - in der Bettwäsche hatten wir dunkle Haare - WLAN und Tv funktionieren nicht - kein Ofen so wie auf den Fotos die uns vorher angezeigt wurden - lustig, dass sich andere hier über das Bad beschweren. Wir hatten noch nicht mal eins. Die Dusche steht direkt im Raum. - Fenstervorhänge können nicht geöffnet werden außer man möchte sich direkt wie im Schaufenster fühlen - wir haben auf dem angegebenen Parkplatz geparkt und einen Parkschein für die Tage gezogen und haben trotzdem ein Knöllchen bekommen - sehr hellhörig, man hört jedes einzelne Wort von den Nachbarn und den Leuten auf der Straße Preis-Leistung ist demnach überhaupt nicht angemessen! Schade :-(

Ligging en badkamer

Televisie werkte niet. Het was niet heel schoon. Zitplek op de bank zat niet comfortabel. Beperkte ventilatie mogelijkheid doordat er geen horren voor de ramen zaten. Bed lagen we op.de vering van matras en moeilijk in en uit bed komen. De hal oogt en ruikt niet fris.

Gemütliche und gepflegte kleine Unterkunft in bester Lage

Gemütliche kleine Wohnung mit allem was man braucht. Neuwertige gepflegte kleine Küchenzeile. Sehr gute Ausgangslage im Stadtzentrum. Alles war sehr sauber. Netter kleiner Frühstückskeller mit gutem Frühstück und sehr freundlichem Personal.

Die Wohnung ist bemerkenswert hellhörig zur Strasse hin. Uns hat das bei unserem Aufenthalt nicht gestört, ich könnte mir aber vorstellen, dass das bei längerem Aufenthalt stören könnte. Der Boden der Wohnung ist, dem alten Haus geschuldet, sehr uneben, was beim gehen störend sein könnte, wenn man zu Schwindel neigt. Für uns war das aber kein Problem.
