I have been traveling to New Delhi for 20 years and, after trying many hotels, I can assure you none compares to Jyoti Mahal. I’m still as thrilled as day one! It’s right next to the vibrant Main Bazar but tucked 100 meters away, making it a peaceful oasis where you sleep in absolute silence. The spectacular Rajasthani architecture transports you to another era, and the entire hotel is remarkably clean. The newly renovated rooms feature beautiful hand-painted murals, traditional lamps, large comfy beds, AC, a fridge, and flawless Wi-Fi. The new bathrooms are colorful and fully equipped with a hairdryer and clean towels. What truly makes you feel safe and right at home is the outstanding service: Total Safety & Trust: It’s a super secure hotel that gives total peace of mind. They even store your large bags or bulky purchases safely if you travel around or another city. Flawless Logistics: Send your flight number and a trusted airport taxi will wait for you, even if your flight is delayed or late at night. They also arrange city and train station rides. Wonderful Staff & Perks: The team is incredibly warm and always available. They offer great laundry service and in-room dining. The breakfast is average and doesn’t offer much variety. However, lunch and dinner are much better when we order the food and they meet expectations. The tea and coffee are also good. There are plenty of rooms, so the entire property needs a thorough water wash and deep cleaning. Many corners and steps have visible stains and accumulated dust, which makes the common areas look less maintained. On the positive side, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, and the toilets in particular are very well maintained.

Only dust and less maintenance around the area and the premises.

Property doesn’t have a lift

When I checked in on June 7 it was a mess. They were renovating. Room was fine. But everything else was mess. Not even a cup of tea was available.

Entrance, the road outside is very filthy. They have cray scan gate but its falling apart. It doesn’t work. They should just remove it.
