Bamburgh Under Canvas

We aren't camping people but decided that we'd give staying in a yert ago for a couple of nights. I was pleasantly supprised by how comfortable it was. The bed was comfy and having the log burner in there made it a cosy night's stay. It was lovely and clean with lots of homey touches that made it feel more like a home than a tent. Being close to Seahouses we only cooked breakfast once but there was everything we needed to do this. The site is thoutfully laid out so your area is private and you can't hear the other guests. It was lovely to have such beautiful wild flowers right outside the yert to walk through and take way to many photos of!

Both wash rooms were really well converted, I think it would've been good if there was a separate toilet incase two people are having showers and you need the loo.

We had such a lovely stay at Bamburgh Under Canvas. The setting is absolutely beautiful — surrounded by huge wildflower meadows filled with colourful flowers, it feels incredibly peaceful and away from everything. The views alone made the stay feel special. The tents are nicely spaced out, so it never felt crowded, and the whole place has a really relaxed, natural atmosphere. Waking up to the meadow and seeing all the flowers stretching out around us was gorgeous, especially with the Northumberland countryside in the background. It’s a perfect place if you want somewhere quiet, scenic and a little different from a normal hotel or campsite. We absolutely loved our time here and would definitely recommend Bamburgh Under Canvas. Such a beautiful spot and somewhere we’d happily return to!

Nothing really. Small bugs but to be expected.

Lovely and picturesk with lovely views of flower fields and the Cheviot hills, very peaceful.

Not much to complain about apart from no electeuc supplied to the tent, expected the toilet facilities as they where in old horse boxes, clean and serviceable.
