One room had a very uncomfortable mattress

Great location, close to all amenities in the village. Well equipped, well furnished house, clean and comfortable.

Could have done with a full length mirror somewhere.

The cottage was very convenient for all facilities that Bamburgh has to offer. It is in a great position for visiting the beautiful Northumberland coast. The cottage was very cosy and comfortable in general (with exception to the double bed in the ground floor bedroom) and it was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and crockery and we didn’t need anything that wasn’t provided. Would defo recommend and would defo book again.

The only thing that we didn’t like was the double bed in the ground floor bedroom. The mattress was uncomfortable and the bed was very noisy when moving around. We stayed in November and realise that the cottage would have been used constantly all season with the increased popularity of staycations, and there were bits of maintainable such as light bulbs that needed replacing, a couple of kitchen doors (dishwasher and washing machine) that needed adjusting so they fit properly and a panel under the shower on the ground floor that needed securing. Non of which affected our stay at all and would defo stay again.
