Accommodation was friendly, clean and had everything I might need during my stay! The host was very welcoming and informative about the local area and provided snorkeling gear.

The island itself is beautiful and quiet, but if you don't drive your a bit stuck regarding places to eat, but the host offers snacks and drinks to buy

The host's knowledge and experience with sea surrounding the island was simply outstanding. Her recommendations were spot on, given the wind direction and current. Due to the typhoon we cut our stay in the area short by two days, otherwise we would have loved to stay longer to try all the snorkelling points recommended. When the surrounding area became increasingly windy, the recommended spot by the host was so calm that a local was reading a newspaper widely open at the cove. The shared kitchen/lounge was very well equipped and cosy. The bathroom was clean and equipped with a washing machine. As we were the last guests staying before the typhoon hit the island, we didn't share the facility with others. We would have loved to try star-gazing on the roof if the sky had been clear.

The double room we booked was clean and tastefully decorated with ukuleles, but unfortunately for us the space was a bit too tight to open our large suitcase. Next time we will book the next room which has more space.

It’s a beautiful place and hostel. Yuki, the host, keeps everything incredibly clean. She was also very friendly and helpful with all around recommendations.

I didn’t mind but you do have to cross a bridge to get to the island and hostel. There’s a bus you can take, just be careful with the schedule.
