Vauxhall Bridge Road by Aeria Apartments

We liked the location and that the apartment had two bedrooms and two toilets where we could take both shower and bath. The kitchen / living room was comfortable. This is basic and fully functional apartment, all what one needs. We were very happy how the person who came to check our complain regarding the mattress in the inner room was helpful. He simply saved our stay (and sleep).

The bed in the inner room is basically for young people/kids and the mattress was super hard there. I complained about it and got the answer that they had looked at it and it was fine. Well the mattress was "fine" but it was way too hard. However the person who came from the property to check the mattress did completely agreed with us and changed it - even though the manager had told us otherwise. This simply saved the journey for those who were in the inner bedroom. Properties can never ever have super hard mattresses, that is not the average traveller. The toilets did not have very strong water flush. The shower in the master bedroom does not has too much space.

Great flat in the perfect location for the theatre. Air con in all rooms was a bonus and overall a really nice space

Not a single mirror in any of the bedrooms. Five people were staying but only 4 teabags/coffee, 4 milk sachets and 4 sugars - bare minimum. Coffee machine but no pods. Beds were quite small (mum and daughter sharing one were snug but couldn’t find bedding for the sofa bed)

The property location is convenient as 5-7 min walk to Victoria Station. The apartment was clean on arrival with basic amenities .

Our stay was disappointing, mainly due to a major issue with the air-conditioning in the master bedroom. The AC was not working throughout our entire stay, and it was evident that this was an existing problem before our arrival. We had specifically called ahead to confirm that everything was working properly, but this was not disclosed to us.We had specifically booked this property as it air-conditioned. A small portable cooler was provided as a temporary solution, but it was ineffective and did not adequately cool the room. The management team initially asked us to be patient while repairs were being arranged, but unfortunately, communication stopped after that. We did not receive any further updates, an apology, or any gesture of compensation despite the inconvenience and impact on our stay. The apartment itself was reasonably presented, but the basic amenities could be improved. Supplies such as soap, shampoo, coffee, and sugar were only provided in limited quantities, enough for approximately two days, which was insufficient for a longer stay. Overall, the biggest disappointment was not just the unresolved AC issue, but the lack of communication and customer care in handling the situation. Guests should be informed of major issues before arrival, especially when they significantly affect comfort during the stay.
