Finest Retreats - Number Seven

Great property in a lovely location. The apartment had everything that we needed and was very nice inside and out. Would definitely stay there again as it is very convenient for the town centre and everything that Skipton has to offer.

The twin bedroom window would not open properly, and the living area window was locked, with no key available. Also, one toilet roll for 3 people for 5 nights is not enough! The bed in the main bedroom is a bit small!

Great location. 20 minute walk along the canal into Skipton town centre whether there were plenty of pubs and restaurants. Only a short drive to most of the attractions in beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

There wasn’t any breakfast or a starter pack as promised. I liked the flat & especially the location. My son & I took taxis into Skipton for our Main meal & I shopped in M&S for anything else we needed. I already brought my own coffee & butter with me. The Dales Cottage Cafe in Rope Street was excellent for food.

Only a couple of throws! It was chilly in the evening, but that was to be expected in Yorkshire. Everything else was fine. I noticed it is up for Sale. Does that mean it will no longer be let for holidays? My daughter who lives in Birstwith picked us up & took us to Grassington. My favourite place where I have stayed many times when I could drive. Filming All Creatures so shops were mainly closed.

we arrived in the evening when it was dark already you have to walk behind the property along a dark tow path which was not lit to access the property.The back of the row of apartments is also poorly lit and difficult to see, considering you are walking alongside open water this is quite dangerous. No parking available at the front while we retrieved the key fob for the underground car park so had to leave our vehicle further down the street. The property was cold on arrival with all radiators turned off - not very welcoming and took a long time to warm up so we sat in our coats! The hot water is set on a timer and ran out on the second morning with two of us having to have Luke warm showers and there is no means of getting any extra hot water. we had had I bath the night before and a shower so hardly using lots of water.
