Great stay over Christmas

This was the perfect base for visiting family on the wirral over the Christmas holidays. Quiet and convenient location with easy access to Liverpool and Chester. The hosts were very responsive to messages and requests.

Great base to visit Liverpool and surrounding area

Lovely roomy place to stay within easy reach of Liverpool, the Wirral and Chester. Plenty of crockery and pots for cooking and some cupboard basics - tea, coffee, sugar, salt, flour and pasta much appreciated. Restaurants, train station, supermarkets and Port Sunshine all within walking distance. Access to garden and parking. 😊🥰

The stairs to access to the property are steep also two more levels inside to top floor bedroom. It was ok for us but something to note if you have any mobility challenges.

Peaceful, comfortable stay

Apartment was well appointed, everything you could need had been provided. The location was an ideal place for our stay for a month, as it was in close proximity to Clatterbridge Hospital, where I was receiving treatment. Also, a central location to easily visit tourist spots in the Merseyside. All in all, it was a home from home stay. Thank you Lydia and Dave.

Lovely hosts, location and property!

We loved the location of the property, how easy it was to book and check in/out and the hosts are so helpful and lovely too!

Some of the lamps and fairy lights around the property weren’t working, including the middle pendant light over the kitchen island. Also the bed in the bedroom on the 1st floor (same level as bathroom and kitchen) was really uncomfortable and squeaks every time you move, so didn’t get much sleep. Family members stayed in the other double bedroom and said it was very comfortable!

Stylish Abode in Bebbington - a real home away from home.

The property was easy to check in. The hosts very informative and solved any problems right away. They provided a few free coffees and tea and milk and sugar. Drinks and snacks were also available for a reasonable fee. The outdoor area was nice though we didn't utitlize their firepit due to wind. Their neighbors birds are fun to watch (real birds- not women LOL). Kitchen was well enough equiped if you wanted to make a meal or heat something up.

The only thing problematic in this place was the parking. It was extremely tight to get our car in and out - but we asked if we could just park on the street (a quiet street) which was fine. The only other problem were the stairs to get luggage up, but that was only once up and once down so it was fine... but for people with mobility problems this would be a definite problem. The last thing which was more our problem because all we had to do was to call... was the apartment was a bit chilly and we couldn't find a way to turn on the heating or find extra blankets. But as said, we could have called and I am sure they would have fixed it as promptly as they fixed another small issue we had.

A beautiful apartment, very clean and peaceful! Set up with everything we needed and a very helpful welcome pack. Hosts were very responsive and helpful and we just didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend

Superb

The location was spot on for what we required, as we did not venture further then the Wirral. but great location. Car parked just out side, on a private drive way was fantastic! The apartment was very well presented, it was like walking in to someone's well loved home. Personally,as a added bonus, I loved the wood burning stove, it was just like home from home. Great facility's in the kitchen. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Next time we will be returning to the Wirral, I will be looking this one up first, to see if its available? Thanks very much X

Not much to say here, just the entrance could do with widening, and the stairs up to the property were narrow and steep. but did not pose any problems for us at all.

Gem of a place

It was spacious, clean, welcoming, the owners were easy to contact and quick to respond, the place far exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be going back. Close to train station and lots of shops and places to eat out within 15 minutes walk.
