Very quiet location, it was a bit isolated from Salobrena and it's facilities, but easy walk across the pebbled beach and then a concrete walkway or parallel road, the purpose of which we could not work out. A couple of bars in the hamlet, but no local shop in low season when we visited. Good views of the castle.
For us, not much, but for others with mobility issues it might be necessary to have a car or transport. It is about 1 km from apartment to restaurant area of Salobrena. We did not mind walking so no issues. Quite a long way from the ALSA bus stop at the top of the town. There is a local mini-bus to and from Salobrena, but we did not need to use it. Key collection was a challenge, we could not find the collection box initially, were were provided with a photo but it could be made more obvious as the photo is taken in low light and collection box is not at the entrance to the apartment.
