Very clean & comfortable with an excellent host. A very nice breakfast which we could help ourselves to.

Minimal food for breakfast, but fresh and homemade foods and jam.

The whole property is in stellar condition. Our room was very nice, with a modern, fresh but also cozy feel. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the blinds build into the windows. This way you can have the windows open, have privacy, and at the same time air flow is not restricted. The bathroom was beautiful with a huge shower. Breakfast was very good. Different homemade goodies were offered next to standard continental breakfast items. We even had scrambled eggs. The location is outside of the city center, but it's a quick drive into town. We read beforehand reviews that complained about the noisy road. Yes, the road is noisy, but it did quite down by the time we came back from town and were ready for bed, around 10pm. It started to get noisy again around 5.30 am, so we just closed the windows at that time, and went back to sleep without hearing the road anymore. The host Bernice was lovely and very welcoming.

We didn't like that the place was fully booked the next night, when we tried to book another night's stay with Bernice😉. We would have enjoyed to stay there again.
