La vallée des Hortillonages

New apartment, very modern, great security, new appliances, energy efficient windows, well-appointed kitchen. Host provided excellent service on checkin, sending a friend to walk us through entry and hand over the keys. Secure parking underneath the apartment building. It had the first elevator we’ve had in over 2 weeks! Streaming services on the smart tv. One electric fan provided which was great for screening out early morning chirping since we had to leave the windows open to stay cool.

I knew the location was not downtown. It was a bit further than I expected from restaurants and bistros.

Apartment is beautiful with everything you need, great to have parking and very close walk to the river and all of the parks and restaurants

The front door key system is a nightmare-even if you follow the instructions using the video - 1 in 3 chances of it working- we thought we’d have to stay elsewhere one night as we couldn’t get in

The location isn't quite central, but a 15 min walk near the canal to the cathedral and restaurants. It felt like a neighbourhood where locals live. It had everything we needed, but we didn't cook there, so don't remember if there was salt pepper, etc. Soap and shampoo were provided. It was plenty of space for one night for 5 adults. Lovely balcony overlooking courtyard. We were met and shown how to manage the locks that had codes, although we wish we had just been given the codes. Underground secure free parking provided in the building. Apartment was clean. Towels and linens provided. Wifi good and very easy to connect by scanning a QR code.

Having to set up a time to meet someone. Wish they had given us the codes as we didn't need keys.

Cleanest apartment I've ever seen!
